I'm totally ready to see a Lakers vs. Bulls Finals but that's a long ways away.

How have the Bulls and Celtics been matching up this season?

I am hoping that it will be a Bulls/Celtics CF. Then the Bulls play the Lakers

I think the Bulls are 1-2 against Boston this season. But I think it was when both teams had injuries. So you cant really gauge it.

I think will come down to those to in the end. And this time the Leprachaun will get the horns!!!:cmad:

Bulls will kick their bankrupted Cali butts.

Extremely impressed with Lakers' win over the Spurs at San Antonio last night.

I'm a bit biased obviously but Lakers/Bulls would be a great series as well as create some great storylines. Phil Jackson trying to win his last championship against his former team coaching the team he beat to get his first one. Kobe vs. Rose (who I think is hands down the MVP right now). Noah/Boozer vs. Bynum/Gasol. Thibodeau's defensive system against Tex Winter's Triangle Offense.

Watch us end up getting a Orlando vs San Antonio finals.

That would be......brutal.

And Orlando vs San Antonio finals would be very entertaining to watch. San Antonio got the best offense in the league, while Orlando got players who shot nothing but 3's. A subplot of Duncan vs Howard.

Out of all the teams in the East Chicago is Boston's biggest threat. How the Bulls play would give Celtics some fits.

I'd love to see the Bulls and Lakers meet in the finals. I'm a Bulls fan, so them being in the Finals would be great no matter what, but going up against the Lakers would be cool. I agree that there would be a lot of cool storylines ... Phil going against the Bulls, Rose vs Kobe, 20 years since the Bulls 1st, etc.

Sweep. I hardly watch NBA. But I know there's a vast difference there. Spurs in 4. Maybe in 5, cause like a cat, it likes playing with its food.

:hehe:

But yea, I'd imagine it going like that.

I'd prefer that over another Lakers vs Celtics finals. I get it, those two teams have a lot of history and have renewed their rivalry in recent years, but let's see something new.

Bulls-Lakers would definitely be the best story. I'm over wanting to see Kobe-Lebron. I think it would be an easier series for the Laker's though, as opposed to going against the Heat or Celtics.

The Heat have failed by not winning a championship before March.

This is the reason why I don't understand them crying in the locker room after the game. They can't seem to beat elite NBA teams and that is cause for concern, but it's still March. They apparently thought their talent would help them dominate the league and that they would breeze to a championship, but that's not how it works.

I don't think they ever thought that. You can blame the media storm that has surrounded this team since July for those expectations. It's not Miami's fault that the Van Gundys of the world are picking them to eclipse 72 wins and win multiple championships before this team even had a practice together.

Yeah I still don't know what Van Gundy was thinking, that was absurd. And your point would be valid, if it weren't for the fact that there was this special called The Decision which aired on ESPN back in July and was a cry for attention. Which also seems to be around the same time you say the media storm for this team came around. Oh and then there was that WWE introduction to the Heat that they had the day after Lebron and Bosh signed with Miami. While you're right that they are under a microscope and possibly receiving more criticism than a lot of other NBA teams, lets not pretend that they didn't ask to be in the spotlight. They wanted it and they got it.

Didn't they pretty much have a championship parade and celebration before the season started?

Yeah, the whole "celebration" thing was a bit much, but whatever. I get it. They pulled something off that had never been done and will likely not be done again and got the fans involved. The city was excited. They capitalized. Didn't care for it, but I don't blame them.

But that's what has brought so much heat down on them though.

I agree that people are blowing things out of proportion. The same thing happens with the Lakers.

The only thing that should be of worry to the Heat is the fact that they can't beat Elite teams.

And in the playoffs, that's kinda who you're gonna be playing.

In the Later rounds they'd see those teams. I also don't think it's a coincidence that all those elite teams have significant presence inside. Miami can make those games close but then they can't get it done late in games.

These upcoming games against the Lakers, Spurs, and no OKC will be pretty telling of what to expect from Miami in the playoffs.

That's A reason, sure, but is it really anywhere near the top on the list of reasons people dislike this team? Probably not. Whatever the case, people are watching and this team has helped make the NBA interesting for the first time in a long time.

They're not as bad against teams with an inside presence as you'd think. They've held up pretty well against some of the upper-echelon big men thus far. Their major problem right now is their bench. They're not going to be hanging banners anytime soon when Miller, Bibby, Jones, and a few others in the rotation are combining for single digit points.
