The Bulls has enough for two full boat free agents. Whether Wade and Boozer would have signed, not sure. I seem to remember the Bulls targeting Bosh and Wade rather than Boozer, though.

They had enough, but then they wouldn't have had enough for Brewer, and as this season has shown, that would have been bad.

Absolutely, not sure there would have been enough for Brewer or Korver. The reason behind the Hinrich trade was to unload enough cash to pick up two big FA's. Ideally, that would have been Lebron/Wade and Bosh/Boozer and that would have been it. I would take my chances with that, but things have worked out pretty well.

Yeah, you look at it that way, yeah I would've loved to have LeBron, but....the team is sitting at the top conference and could finish with the best record in the league. With the kind of time Noah and Boozer have been out, you can't possibly ask for or realistically expect more from them to this point, with or without LeBron/Wade.

What an atrocious game last night. I hope Lakers won't play as badly as they did again. Ugh.

Bulls almost let one slip away, but they got the win and kept pace for the top seed. Big game coming up Thursday against the Celtics.

If the Spurs and Bulls end the season with the same record and were to meet up in the Finals, they will have a random drawing to decide who gets home court advantage for the series. Due to them both having the same opposing conference records.

I don't see the Spurs beating the Thunder in the 2nd round. LA barely beat them last year and they were not scared at all. If Durant had shot better when he had open looks, they might have forced a game 7. When OKC and the Spurs (trust me, they will) meet in the 2nd round, I see OKC taking it. I could be wrong but the Spurs do not play defense like they used to and I see Perkins/Ibaka as a more formidable duo than Duncan(34)/Mcdyess(30-something?) on the defensive side of the ball.

Offensively, I think Parker will have a harder time stopping Westbrook than vice-versa and the Spurs can't stop Durant. That's a 6 or 7 game series with the Spurs losing. Believe it.

Idk Durant hasn't showed me yet that he has that killer instinct in order to beat one of the elite teams like the Spurs...

They've won all 3 matchups against the Thunder this season in convincing fashion, so I don't know about that. But of course that was before the Thunder acquired Perkins.

This....

For whatever reason the fact that Durant and a very underwhelming playoff debut last year seems to get ignored.

True. But if Nick Collision boxes out Pau Gasol and the series with LA goes to 7 games, who knows what kind of a performance he would have had in game 7.

You don't know, so you judge him off the performances in which you do know what he's done.

Eh, who cares. KD is awesome. He'll either get it together or he wont. And if not, Westbrook is effin' awesome. Some day, they will be THE team in the NBA. (If they can keep the team together.) Maybe not this year, but soon.

I don't know that that's very fair when you consider all that he had accomplished in the regular season. He was/is one of the best scorers in the game, so it's not unthinkable that he could have had a great shooting night, but who knows.

The Heat are losing to the Bucks right now.... Yes, the Milwaukee Bucks. It's only a 5 point game, but they still need to step it up this time of the year against bad teams. They still have a shot at the #1 seed in the East.

That's extremely doubtful, even if they win this game. The Bulls only have to go 3-2 to get to 60 wins and while they have to face Boston in the remaining games (as do the Heat), the Bulls also face the Magic. Except they'll probably be without Howard due to suspension because he got another technical. Unless it's rescinded.

I agree with that. But the Bucks have been awful this season. They need to beat teams like that at this point in the season.

Even beyond that playoffs series Durant has really struggled against Ron Artest. In the two games they played this season Durant went 8 for 24 and 8 for 20. For all he accomplished last regular season his numbers dropped across the board during that first round series.

I don't know, I think they might be able to get a game or two.
