who cares if all he does is dunks as long as he gets points does really matter how he gets them?

When he runs into teams in the playoff that can block the lane in the paint, and refs who are willing to call offensive foul, then Griffin won't be able to dunk whenever he pleases. And CP3 summed up rather well when he was asked about Griffin's drunk, which he replied "we lost the game, so who cares?" If he wants to become a complete player, then he'd better work on that 18-foot jumper.

I just said that! :argh:

But I agree 1000%! ;)

Come on, guys. We've got Stan Van Jeremy telling the media that Orlando management relayed that Dwight is trying to get him fired, with Dwight hugging him like a minute afterward, completely unaware of the bomb that just went off and we're talking about traveling and Blake Griffin being near useless outside of 5 feet away from the basket?

Really? :csad:

Coach: Dwight Howard Wants Me Out

Howard is an absolute buffoon who clearly has shown winning is not his number 1 priority. Orlando has another full year of his garbage. I feel sorry for them.

DA BULLS.

He's not going to make a career out of dunking though. Then he gets pissed when he gets knocked on his ass. People don't want to get dunked on anymore by this guy. If I was a big man and was driving down the lane to dunk I'd foul the **** out of him 1) to send him to the line cause he's a horrid FT shooter and 2) send him a message. If Blake wants to survive in the league he needs to work on his FT game and mid-range game.

Van Gundy is a drama queen. He actually should have been fired the year they made it to the Finals with Skip to My Lou and the Lakers had no answers for him..............yet he replaces him for Jameer Nelson which cost them a championship. And yes Blake is useless away from the basket.

How is this Howard's fault when Van Gundy went to the media about this? People always blame the players for anything that goes wrong. If anything Van Gundy has just guaranteed he got fired and I don't blame the organization. What kind of head coach does that?

Seriously, when is a ref going to call Blake for a foul when he practically elbows people in the face during dunks?

Completely agree.

Both dunks would have been even more impressive if they weren't both offensive fouls. One for over the back and one for jacking Pau in the face.

doesn't matter where his elbow was. PAU was not in position. Blake was off the ground before Pau knew what was happening. No laws in open air space.

Blake Griffin's Mutumbo Macho Man Elbow impersonations are always hilarious to watch, especially when the refs are like 5 feet away.

Pau should be used to getting dunked on, KG did it all the time to him when he was in Minnesota.

This is why I couldn't stand seeing the whole Blake vs Kevin Love as some big showdown between power forwards when they played. It's like, are you kidding me? I'd take Kevin any day of the week. Blake will work on his game I'm sure (barely his 2nd year right?) and he's incredibly gifted but in a sense he's not even the kind of player you want to be in the game in the final seconds, to be honest. Not yet at least.

Well it was already out there and they asked him. And who knows, I think he wants to be fired.

I know you're a Clippers fan so you'll be bias but on that second dunk, he leads with his free arm and jacks him in the face with an elbow. And Pau was in position, if he was out of position, he wouldn't have made the poster.

Yeah it was out there but for him to mention it and say Dwight is doing that is a beyotch move. He's trying to turn the fans against Dwight and it worked because the fans booed Dwight tonight. I don't know why they are doing that because they just insured him leaving.

And yeah LA, you are a Clippers fan so Blake can kill someone for eating french fries wrong and you'd agree with it.

They should hate on Dwight. He's handled this whole thing poorly. From the list of teams he's ok with being traded to and the constant back and forth. He's a completely selfish individual. He's not in it to win it IMO.

I agree but Orlando should have traded him. It's obvious dude just doesn't want to be there any more. That's what happens when you keep a guy who isn't happy. But don't you worry Darth! With the rumors going around that if the Heat don't win it all this year, he'll be in Miami for either Wade or Lebron. :o

Yeah they have a right to boo Dwight cause he wants to be a celebrity not a basketball player.

Oh god, the 3 superstars they have is just enough.

Like hell, either Wade or LeBron.

So let me get this straight, if you had the chance to get the most dominate big man for a player that you basically have two of the same on your team, you wouldn't do it? I'd do it in a heartbeat!.......if I don't win it all that is. If they win it all, then you leave it alone and don't fix it.

Thought Bynum's reaction to Blake's dunk/offensive foul was funny.

Like hell, either Wade or LeBron.

Agreed but sadly, its going to be Lebron. No way the Magic take Wade who's often banged up, older, and not as versatile. Not to mention the fans n Miami would riot if Wade is traded. It's Lebron or no deal.

Which would be hilarious. Cuz he'd be stuck there for at least another 3 years. :hehe:
