I'd take that if Hedo stopped playing like one of the walking dead.
Only if Hedo brings some pizza.
Ball.I'd take that if Hedo stopped playing like one of the walking dead.

Gasol is way better than Bosh.
Even if he doesn't I'm shocked so many people seem to think of Gasol as the centerpeice of a franchise or something, he had his chance at being that already, and wasn't. He's basically Chris Bosh in a bigger body. I've admittedly never been that big of a fan, but still, he crumbles against any physical center or power forward that engages him.
Hell, Nene manhandled him in that Denver playoff series a few years ago. We all saw what happened last year and seem to conveniently dismiss what happened in '08 against the Celtics. People love to point out Kobe's 6-24 in Game 7 against the C's in '10, like Pau Gasol wasn't 6-16 in his own right lol, I mean it's crazy to me. Gasol & Bynum should both already have their stuff packed if it means getting Dwight to LA.
Well, everybody thought he got his s**t together when they beat Boston in the Finals in the rematch. He didn't take no s**t from Garnett then. And that guys the toughest bag of *****e in the league. But alas, he lost his mojo at some point over the course of last season. I doubt he'll be getting it together anytime soon or at all either. Still......he's better than nothing.
David West signs with the Pacers after the Celtics talk break down.
Marc Gasol about to be a Rocket after a sign and trade with Memphis...He's signing the max there
Very true, but had Perk been able to go, I still don't know who comes out on top in that game, and I'm a biased Laker fan for sure. I think Gasol's skillset thrived in a system like the triangle, where everybody was tasked with touching the ball and making decisions. I just feel with that gone, and with him already being mentally weak, trying to keep him now isn't feasible. And if it means having to package him with Bynum for Dwight, I think it's pretty reasonable given what Howard brings to the table.
Who said anything about keeping him? The Lakers getting rid of him is a forgone conclusion. It's just that as far as Orlando is concerned, he's better than nothing.![]()
He's a little bigger than Bosh. Skill-wise, I don't know about better. He didn't do anything different in Memphis than Bosh did in Toronto, they both have the same strengths and same weaknesses. In fact, Bosh at least won a few playoff games as the lead dog, Gasol didn't at all.

Warriors make an offer sheet for Deandre Jordan...4 yrs $43 million
Lets see if the Clippers match
If he can't land with the Los Angeles Lakers or New York Knicks, Chris Paul's preference is to be traded by the league-owned New Orleans Hornets to the Los Angeles Clippers to play alongside Blake Griffin, according to sources close to the situation.
The Clippers know that Paul is unlikely to sign an extension with any team that trades for him because the rules in place in the NBA's new labor agreement make it more advantageous for top stars to play the season out and then sign a longer deal in free agency, even if they're staying with the same team. But sources told ESPN.com that the Clippers merely want Paul to pick up the 2012-13 option in his contract at the time of the trade -- thus delaying his free agency by one year -- if they're going to give up one of their two most prized trade assets for Paul: Eric Gordon or Minnesota's unprotected No. 1 pick in 2012.
Yea but all the top players in next years draft are almost all big men. The Clips are already good in that department. There is Austin Rivers but I haven't seen enough of him to compare him to Paul...We need a pass first pg who can score as well and those are to hard find in the league now...to me u only give up that pick in exchange for a superstar! Yea we can wait next year but that doesn't mean we will get him...a lot can happen now to next season? Who knows maybe the Lakers? Knicks will somehow find the capspace to get Paul! If the Hornets are asking for the Minny pick for Paul I would do it in a heartbeat!WHAT LA?!! Listen, I like Paul, but part of me thinks he's overrated. I would NOT offer Minny's 1st round pick because it's going to be a high pick. Again, Paul is not 6 feet tall so he is going to be a liability on defense plus he has a bad knee. I'd wait for him to him he free agent market or I'd draft pg with that pick, and looking at Minny's roster, it will be a top 5 pick, meaning you will get the top pg in next year's draft. Paul is not worth it if I'm in Clipper Nation.
