Haha Clippers suspended there ticket sales on there website! Soon I won't be able to afford a Clipper game :(

I wouldn't have been willing to give up Gordon, but I don't think they got raped in the least.

Kaman is a very overrated player. He's only had 2 good years in his entire career. And 2 of the past 3 years he's played in 32 games or less.

Aminu could potentially become a good player down the line but hasn't proved ****. 5.6 and 3.3 really aren't good numbers, even if you're only playing 18 minutes a game.

And while Minny's pick is going to be high, you never know what you're going to get in the draft. For every one LeBron James or Kobe Bryant, you have hundreds of Kwami Browns and Adam Morrisons.

Personally, I would have kept Gordon and added Bledsoe and the clippers 1st rounder instead.

Hell no, you run away with that Minnesota pick and Gordon. Bledsoe is whatever.

Minnesota is going back to the lottery and I'd be salivating for a Barnes, Davis, or Sullinger

I was listening to the Stephen A. Smith show on ESPN radio, where he had Marc Stein (who broke the news on CP3 to Clippers trade), and he gave us some more tidbits about how it all went down:

- Lakers were actually involved in the CP3 trade again, which involved 2 other teams, and this is the reason why Clippers got antsy and ended up putting Gordon in the deal, and it was something they didn't want in the end.
- Clippers had 5 trade baits at their deposit, and they gave up 4 of the 5 in the trade (Bledsoe was the only trade bait that they kept).
- Clippers wanted to use Chris Paul to entice Blake Griffin to sign a long-term deal, even though CP3 only would sign a two-year deal with the team thus far.

Regarding Dwight Howard, Nets are going all out to try to get him, because that's the only way to convince Deron Williams to sign extension with the team, and they need an All-Star when they move to Brooklyn. But if Lakers offer both Gasol and Bynum in the trade, they'll be able to win out in the trade. The question is, would Jim Buss be willing to part with Byrum? Personally, I think Buss has done alot of damage to the franchise already, including trading Odom immediately when he requested a trade instead of waiting it out for things to develop. Now they'd have nothing to offer in a trade except Gasol and Bynum. If Lakers walked away with nothing in the end, Kobe won't be the only one who'll voice his anger at the front office.

What the black death is so special about Bynum? He is always injured. Always! I just don't get why he is so freaking untradable. Especially for Howard.

Who's going to play sg than? Billups?
sadly the free agent market is bare right now, they may get a shot at an amnestied player, but its pointless to cut him till they find someone they need. They could try to trade him, but i doubt anyone bites on it.

I think they still have some cap space left to sign Jamal Crawford...Kings are offering 6.5 mill, the clips can ante up and pay 7, plus he will be the starter at the 2

Yep, Billups will be your SG.

They have a lot of backcourt depth (at least at PG). I wouldn't be surprised if another move was made for a legit SG or front court depth.

Only problem with that is that Billups is most effective, always has been, when operating from the top.

Could always have Paul work as a 2 offensively once things settle into a half-court set, work him out of the 45 instead...

It's temporary. At least until they can find somebody else.

Billups is however big enough and strong enough to hold the fort. Besides, to reiterate, they don't play too much D in the west anyway. :o

Damn Crawford signs with the Blazers two yrs 10 Mill

Need a non-biased opinion, where would u guys rank the clippers team in the west?

I'd have to give that some thought, but they definitely jumped up towards the top of the conference. Too bad they still have Vinny as a coach ... He bad.

Conference? O_o

or Division?

They'll be better than last year but c'mon :oldrazz:

Chris Paul, Chauncey Billups, Caron Butler, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan....Top 4 in the west imo...

Meh, I don't think Vinny sucks... I think some of you Bulls fans are underselling how big an upgrade you got in the coaching department last year...

I'd say Vinny's mediocre... middle of the board, maybe slightly south of it. I wouldn't say he sucks.

I mean, let's be real here... he's not Tim Floyd...

Whenever I say he last name I feel like I'm being racist.
