Should be 10-15 games for Ron...He has been suspended plenty of times

ron artest ended up taking out the only thunder player that had a good game

Looks like World Peace is still out of his mind. That was cold.

Even as a Lakers fan, I can't really excuse for that elbow that Artest/World Peace made against Hayden. I hope it won't be as long as 5 games but I can understand if the suspension is this long.

Btw, I think barring an upset by the Kings, I believe Lakers have the #3 spot clinched with today's win, because they own the tie-breaker over the Clippers. Given the strength of OCK and SA, any homecourt advantage helps in the playoff.

Some people are calling for a permanent ban from the league.

The upcoming game between PHX & UTA could be epicly epic beyond epic proportions. I can't wait.

:People need to back off of @MettaWorldPeace. Hes just a man doin man ****. His elbow didn't even see that dude's face!

Ron Ron, Meta just couldn't surpress you any longer, could he? I wonder if he even realizes the hole he just put us in.

Some people are calling for a permanent ban from the league.

That would be overreacting. If he didn't get banned for fighting fans he's not going to kicked out for this. You can easily argue that this wasn't intentional even though it probably was.

Freaking Ron makes a cameo appearance.

What he did isn't right and I think it's a mix of intentional and unintentional. I think it started out as typical Metta excited behavior and then Harden came in way too close and got knocked out by that elbow because Metta wanted his space.

Why did he even come running and bump into Artest anyway? Harden didn't deserve to get knocked down and World Peace will probably get suspended but I think this could have been avoided. Metta not being so aggressive and reacting toward someone bumping into him and Harden keeping clear of MWP.

Oh well that makes sense. Only saw that brief portion.

Well in that case Mr. World Peace is completely at fault. I like Artest but when he does stupid stuff like this it just makes me shake my head a bit.

Yeah but it's Ron Artest, dude changed his named to Metta World Peace. He's crazy. I wouldn't be surprised if he had sex with a dog and thought it was ok because it was his betch.

Honestly, even though it was a horrible play, and he should be suspended at least 5 games IMO, some of these analysts are going overboard. And the only reason is because of the "Malice at the Palace" where I feel he got a raw deal on that situation.

For me, this elbow, and even confronting Pat Riley during a game were more egregious than the Palace brawl. Ben Wallace overreacted to a foul that wasn't even that serious, then he kept going at Ron when the officials should've been tossed him out the game. The reason Artest was on the scorer's table in the first place was to get away from Wallace. Then after he gets hit with the cup, he charges into the stands, but doesn't swing. Stephen Jackson jumps up there and starts throwing punches, then the idiot fan behind Ron starts hitting him from the back.

After all of that, Artest still didn't actually hit anyone, and makes his way to the court. Then, he sees a fan on the court coming towards him. If you ask me, the fan got exactly what he was looking for. Then Artest is taken to the locker room, the first one back there by the way. That whole situation was heaped on him because of his reputation, and that's his fault, but I still think the overreaction to that is what's fueling the overreaction to this. James Jones just hit Joakim Noah in the face, blatantly, and nobody really made a big deal about it because he's James Jones.

I like the progress the Cavaliers made this season. Might not look like much, but it's a start.

The Charlotte Bobcats have to be one of the worst teams in professional history.

Every professional sports league is concussion crazy now. Artest hit him directly to the side of the head and it's already confirmed Harden has a concussion. That alone is going to f**k him.

Ron Ron is a long time crazy. His status as a repeat offender won't be a good thing for him.

Could have easily been double digits. Kinda surprised it wasn't.
