It's severe & it's fair. He's cost his team enough.

I think 7 games is appropriate, and it will hurt the team when they need him the most: in the playoff. You also have to take into consideration of his efforts to get better and rehabilitate himself in recent years, such as raffling off his championship ring to raise awareness for mental health. I think Artest has had issues and demons that he has tried to get rid of, and for the most part he seems to be succeeing, but this incident shows that the problems haven't disappeared completely. I hope he will use this chance as a wake-up call and prevent it from happening again.

Disappointed we didn't win the division. Blew a huge opportunity. anyways we need to win tonight against the knicks to get home court against the grizz

Ron Artest playing in general raises awareness for mental health...

The comments are value...

"What is this, huh? This is wack, I can’t get jiggy with this *****. "

I believe your gonna need it. For some reason, Memphis still seems to be flying under the radar. People conveniently forget it took OT, then Triple OT, and finally a game 7 for the Thunder to dispatch them last year, without their best player.

For my money, when healthy (which they are just finally getting to be after two seasons) they have the best front court in the whole league. Gay, Gasol & Z-Bo are no joke, and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they made it to the Conference Finals, or further...

The Grizz are the very definition of sleeper. That's a pertty versatile squad when it's all working for them.

I heard some analysts said Grizzlies will be the team that nobody would want to play in the playoff, and I agree. They match up well against just about any team out there, whether size or speed, and I think they will be a tough out for their opponent.

Clippers match up well against the grizz. we won two out of three including one in Memphis. Not saying this wont be a tough match up but I would be worried more if we played Dallas

After seeing how they kicked it up during the playoffs last year I wouldn't want to face them even with a different squad.

Were going to lose to the knicks smh now I need the magic to beat the grizz tomorrow

Not if JR Smith keeps making ******ed defensive plays on 3pt attempts.

The same Orlando team without Dwight Howard? It's not gonna happen esp. with Grizz trying to move up to the #4 spot.

its amazing memphis gets slept on so much

knock out the spurs in the first round, take thunder to 7 games last year....yet no one expects them to do similar things this year

very good and under rated team

That's sad. :funny:

I feel bad for Paul Silas. Every interview with him is pretty sad to look at.

Michael Jordan screwed them over.
Guy's probably the best coach to have never been trusted with a decent team...

Or "best fit" general coach to never be trusted to a decent team, since they're not really the same thing...

It's that time again to see my Knicks try and win it all....and fail miserably :csad:

I hope you play the Mavs on the first round!

Unlike the rest of the league, the Heat will feel like a failure if they don't win it all this year. I think this gives them an edge.
