I think Harbaugh needs to send a message to his players that this kind of penalty is not acceptable. Any OT or penalty could be the difference-maker in this game, and something like excessive celebration is just a boneheaded mistake.

Bad play calling from Gilbride on third down. If you're playing 4 down football, just pound it both times. If you don't get it the first time, at least you'll wear out the D-line for the second attempt.

As a Ravens fan this just hurts and blows so much. The people that get bashed all week actually step up and play big but others who don't even get mentioned are the ones that cost us. The evans catch should have been at least reviewed and Cundiff well lets just say he needs to watch his back when he gets back to baltimore this evening.

I can't help but think were just snake bitten as a franchise, constant strong defense but the past 2 years our receivers just let us down. I mean the patriots played a horrible game all night and joes out there having a coming out party of sorts and yet we loose. Brady has been to 4 super bowls, it becomes a little ridiculous after a while to see QB's like him and big ben get lucky over ones like reed and lewis who bust there butts all year to have simple misfortune step in. Im just bitter I guess, I hope Harbaugh didn't bring that andy ried luck with him from the eagles.

Yep. That is my problem with so called "player coaches." They set the culture of that **** being acceptable by joining in on it, taunting their opponents, being their players' friend (not their boss), etc. Say what you want about guys like Chan Gailey, Tom Coughlin, Bill Belichik and Bill Cowher...they don't celebrate until the game is won but their players don't make stupid mistakes.

Speaking of boneheaded mistakes, why the hell would you call a reverse in this kind of weather? You're just asking for a turnover. Very lucky break for the Niners.

Haha. Yeah. When I saw the headline at first I thought they had fired him. I'm just hoping the Rooney's make sure that Tomlin picks up a solid offensive coordinator and help clean up the offense and make sure the Steelers get back to that Super Bowl level.
