He doesn't know how many time outs he has! What an elite field general!

:funny:

I think the Niners have been forgetting to cover Victor Cruz.

Normally, I'm not a proponent of "hey, our kicker missed a field goal, so let's shank him"...but missing from 32 yards is just plain embarrassing.

Especially in ideal weather, and from a typically very reliable kicker. I feel bad for him, and almost feel bad for the Ravens..

Only someone who doesn't appreciate football would call a hardnosed defensive slug out a "snooze fest."
I like offensive games better.

When there's barely any forward progress the game seems slow to me.

It's not their year. It's their LUCKY year. Getting lucky that the AFC was weak this year. Lucky to get the # 1 seed. Then lucky that the Ravens got some bad luck and they get to the big dance.

Call it luck if you want to but even with a trash defense they are getting the job done. Plus, their defense has stepped up a lot more on the last 4 games they played. Which for this Pats's D, is great progress, at the right time.

If the patriot play the giants the way they played the ravens they're almost assured to lose the superbowl.

Obviously. Anyone can figure that one out but Giants defense is nothing compared to the Ravens. Remember, this is a team that shouldn't have made the playoffs if the Cowboys didn't have terrible coaching. I don't care how well the front 3 or 4 for them are playing. Brady can and will pick them apart. 49ers on the other hand...I don't know. It's the matchup I'm hoping for.

I think you're being a bit harsh on the Giants.

They're a fluky as **** team, to be sure, but their defense has played very well the past few games.

Which is exactly why Matt said you don't appreciate football. :o
Yeah I don't appreciate slow tug-a-wars. Sue me.

I enjoyed the hell out of the Ravens-Patriot game. Infact I enjoyed most of the play-off games.

The Giants by the way swept the SFC east , I am not saying they will beeat the Niners or the Pats but we were dealing with a tremendous amount of injuries and a brutal schedule . The Giants got healthy at the right time . You don't go in to Green Bay and beat the Packers by 17 by just being fluky

THat game was MUCH closer than the score indicated though.

Good stop and recovery after the brutal penalty.

I think you could make a great video of Smith set to the Benny Hill music.

Oh come on, the guy was in midair! :whatever:

At any rate, if I were Harbaugh, I wouldn't have declined that. I would've gone on fourth and one. Number one rushing attack in the league. Chances are too scarce in this game to not try to make something happen. I know it is a risk but it is the NFC championship! Go big or go home!

I love Ed Hochuli btw.

You also don't lose the Redskins twice if you're a solid, consistent, team.
Oh, they're definitely not consistent.

But you really don't need to be to win a championship.
