I'm a Texas Tech grad and it's painful to watch Crabtree's career being stunted by Smith's ineptitude. He doesn't know how to read a defense and go through progressions, and he panics WAY TOO FAST for a supposed veteran QB. Plus he's inaccurate as hell on a lot of easy throws.

Well, I honestly believe what the 49ers need to become a great team, is a excellent QB & WR. I think Crabtree is an adequate WR, but we need someone along the lines of a Calvin Johnson or Andre Johnson. No, offense.

The Hammer should do something useful for once, use his commissioner power to stop this game, let Ed Hochuli put together what I can only assume would be an all-star team of bad ass ex-cons and members of his gym and have them represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

I would agree Crabtree is more suited to be a good #2 receiver, but Alex is completely crushing that potential. Look at Welker with freaking Brady. Welker would struggle a lot with Alex throwing the ball to him.
