Now, THIS is football! No video game stats, no open receivers every play...hardcore defense!

I think my heart actually stopped there for a bit.

One game against the worst secondary in the league doesn't make you a great QB. Everyone has good games. As for him "getting the job done," he really hasn't. 3,000 yards. 14 TDs....these are the numbers of a rookie quarterback, not a 7th year. His team has been winning because Harbaugh plans around him.

3000 yards, 17 TD and 5 INTs? That's more then enough with that kind of D and a great RB. Remember, besides Davis he has NO ONE he can count on. I'm not saying he's a great QB, he's not. But for someone who should have been playing the bench when the season started, he's played well.

The Pats must be loving this. They sit back and watch as both of their perspective opponents' quarterbacks get the **** knocked out of them.

With the 5 month break between games, it's not that big a deal.

I can imagine the entire Pats team watching this in the Locker Room & eating some Pizza

Ball back to the Niners with 1:47 left. Smith needs to work some of that magic he used last week.

Fear can be a big motivator. Especially for your best frienemy Alex Smith. All season Harbaugh has been protecting him and now he is getting the fear of God put into him by the G-Men's defense.

I don't think I've ever seen the ball thrown away so many times in one game.

Maybe Smith should be benched if this goes into Over Time ?

Yeah, you can tell he's shakey right now. :csad:

Wow. A quick three and out. That's still plenty of time for Eli Manning. All they need is to get into field goal range. Niners defense needs to make a huge play!

The turnovers in this game are happening at lightspeed.

I think the 49ers are going to need a pick 6 to win this game.
