Personally, I more see them as a very talented team who are kinda dumb by not always playing up to their potential.

I fail to understand how a team can play "kinda dumb" but can still fluke out big wins...

I was drained after that first game. This 4 hour game, woo. Very good defensive game.

Kyle Williams single-handedly sent the Giants to the Super Bowl.

That's FIVE Lombardi trophies... thank you very much... :cmad: :cmad: :cmad:

:csad:

And the Steelers have 6! :oldrazz:

TMOB, trust me...I feel your pain. The Steelers lost to the Broncos and TIM TEBOW!!! TIM TEBOW!!! :wow:

The Niners lost to a really hot Giants team with a MUCH better quarterback.

The Niners are still a very young team and building up a lot of steam. They have a lot of great things in place. I think they'll be making a huge threat next season.

Still tough break.

Glad to be seeing the Super Bowl 42 rematch...and, yes, it's a rematch. The head coaches are the same. The starting quarterbacks are the same. It's a freakin' rematch. :oldrazz:

Would you be saying the same if the Niners won, because their football was pretty awful as well?

The Bengals.

A playoff win is equivalent to a Superbowl victory in this town, and we still can't get it done :csad:.

Oh you poor bastard. You are a very faithful fan. I might have jumped ship for another team.

Nothing better then having two ****ing teams make it to the Super Bowl due to a mental mistake gift in the end.

Billy Cundiff & Evans

Williams

Just add a cherry on top too.

As a Jets fan, I will support the Giants again, **** the Patriots. P.S. No way the Niners would have beaten the Patriots...Alex Smith cannot sustain long drives. It would have been similar to the Broncos game.

This one should be interesting hopefully...Wonder if Gronk will be good to go

Because they have talent.

They have the ability to be a great team.

They just don't always do that. Which is why they're dumb.

When they won in '07, they were playing up to their potential.

This post season, they're doing the same thing.

I certainly hope so. He's been a good asset this season.

All I can say is now is Go Brady! Go get history and prove you're the best to ever do it. And as far as my Niners go...cut Kyle Williams and I'll get a little bit of consolation.

How does winning a 4th Super Bowl prove he's the best?

Now everyone here in NYC is going to all of a sudden going to be Giants fans. I can't wait. :whatever:

I want you to know, of the Giants win another Super Bowl, I'll officially rescind everything I've said against them. :o

Both teams were stymied by the other teams' defenses... however, you take away the silly turnovers. ESPECIALLY the muffed punt return, and it's a tough 17-10 Niner win...

The Niners were able to move the ball occasionally, other than the big play in the first quarter, but the Giants could hardly move the ball in the entire 2nd half, aside from the short 29 yard field after the fumble...

You take away that "touched knee" play... Niners win the game... you take away that dropped interception and/or the helmet catch in SB 42, the Pats win the game...

Flukey team.

If the Giants give up 50 + penalty yards against the Patriots, they will exploit it. The Pats will not stand idly by when given great field position. This isn't Alex Smith....Brady will score.

The punt turnovers are somehow payback for the two blown calls last week.

Two good D's making huge stops, something had to give. Great season by the Niners. Eli took a beating today, big time, but he hung in real tough. I'm so happy right now...this is amazing.

And huge props to Coach Tom Coughlin.

GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!
