No kidding.

You need ONE yard in overtime. You have one of the best RBs in football, a speedy WR who can typically pick up yards on a reverse, and an inaccurate backup QB who can't complete a pass over 5 yards. YOU BET YOUR ASS WE'RE GOING WITH VICK. Good God, Tomlin or Haley deserve to be fired for last night, although they deserved to be fired after a number of similar stupid decisions for the past several years but the Steelers are determined to never make changes until the coaches are wearing Depends.

And oh yeah, Scobee. Seriously, was he that awful in Jacksonville? I mean, I typically just assume everything is worse in Jacksonville when it comes to football but given that he was there for 12 years or something, I'm guessing he was at least halfway decent? Maybe? I mean, despite having a record of 14-278 or something over the past decade, the Jags occasionally put points on the board somehow and it wasn't with their S.O.R. Loser squad of quarterbacks.

Excuse me while I go drink myself into a stupor as I get ready for another one-game Buctober.

Made almost 81% of his kicks in 11 years in Jacksonville?

Which was worse Rowsdower, the throw on 4th down or the called QB run on 4th down? :funny:

I need to thank Pittburgh for missing that kick. I have Justin Tucker as my kicker and he got me 9 extra points after Scobee missed that field goal.

Pick one. They were both awful. I honestly can't decide which was worse.
I am going to go with the run, because while putting the pass in Vick's hands was horrible, there is a parallel time stream where he makes that pass. No time stream ever has them getting a first down on that run play.

Also, honestly, they should have kicked it imo. I know he missed two, but it is a legit chance to win the game. It would have been the same role of the dice, but only one would win the game outright.

Yeah, probably. I still think the best course of action would have been running it with Bell on that last 4th and 1. I know he wasn't running great but I'm pretty sure he could have gotten 1 yard. Ugh. I always hate seeing them lose to the Ravens but it hurts significantly when it's at home and on Jerome's big night. And in a game that they probably would have won if they had a kicker who was worth a ****. I seriously hope they are working out kickers. Seriously, I think I'd take Jeff Reed back over ever seeing Josh Scabies again.

If you are going to go for it, you let Bell touch the ball. Anything else, was stupid, especially putting the ball in Vick's hands not once, but twice.

Oh man, I just don't see how a Rothlisberger-less steelers team has ANY teeth. They need him bad and they need to Draft a replacement in this coming Draft.

They might be better off blowing the rest of this season, and getting a high draft pic.

The QB run was so much worse. The pass play was open, Vick just missed the throw. The QB run to the outside had no chance.

Hmmm...

If Stan Kroenke does not get his way and the NFL refuses to move the St. Louis Rams to Los Angeles, there's no doubt he'll sue the league. But what if the Denver Broncos ownership situation unfolds like it did in Buffalo? Broncos Owner Pat Bowlen has had health issues and he could leave ownership of the team to one of his children. But what if the children sell? Would the NFL tell Kroenke to drop the lawsuit, sell the Rams to someone who will keep the team to St. Louis and instead have him buy the Broncos? The reason I have always thought that the Broncos were the wildcard in the whole "NFL to Los Angeles" scenario is because of the Pat Bowlen health situation and possible ownership change and potential sale.

Kroenke buying the Broncos would make sense. He would not move to the team from Denver since he already owns the Nuggets and Avalanche. He would get to keep both teams and also own the Broncos at the same time. NFL rules prevent an NFL owner from owning another pro sports team in another NFL market. This would prevent him from having to go through legal loopholes in order to keep the two teams in his name and yet relinquish day-to-day operations and not circumvent NFL ownership rules.

Or is Kroenke too invested in his Los Angeles stadium project that even if the Bowlen family decide to sell, he would not pursue the Broncos?

The Broncos moving seems way more bizarre then moving the Rams.

I thought it was going to be the Raiders and Chargers. The Rams was the organization willing to put the most money towards the stadium.

Rams trade Chris Given to the Ravens for a conditional pick.

They are not moving, it's the ownership that is in flux. Kroenke owns the Nuggets and Avalanche so he could still keep ownership of both teams and also own the Broncos should he sell the Rams and buy the Broncos. NFL rules currently prevent him from owning both the Nuggets and Avalanche while owning the Rams because both St. Louis and Denver are NFL markets, so he has to transfer ownership of both teams to his son. Right now, he hasn't officially transferred ownership of both teams to his son and has until the end of the season to do so. Both teams are still in his name currently. He's still listed as owner of both teams on their current websites.

But would he be willing to give up everything he's planned for the Rams in Los Angeles, sell the Rams to a local buyer and then buy the Broncos should the family of Pat Bowlen decide to sell?
