Horror 28 Years Later

Still curious about the angle of how the rage virus returns. Then again I'm guessing it might just be a case of humans making it again thinking this time they can "fix it" and it just gets out again.

Garland and Macdonald also spoke about the upcoming trilogy of films following on from apocalyptic thrillers 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later. In 2025, 28 Years Later, with a budget of around $75 million, will mark the start of a set of three films from Boyle, Garland and Macdonald. “We’re making, hopefully three more 28 films with the first one called 28 Years Later that Alex has written, and Danny has directed, and has finished shooting,” Macdonald said. “Then we’re just about to start, tomorrow morning, actually, part two. And then we hope there’s gonna be a third part and it’s a trilogy.”

Yeah, but for this movie it makes sense.

Maybe but I was hoping for an upgrade similarly to how 28 Weeks Later was to the first film. I find it extremely difficult to rewatch 28 Days Later because of the resolution. 😥

Eh, to each their own. I have no issues with 28 Days Later and rewatching it.

Just an iphone... plus a ton of expensive gear and lenses.

Apparently 28 Years Later II has also finished filming. Curious if Garland will direct the final installment.

Every time I see this thread bumped up, I expect news of John Murphy's return to score this one as well. I hope he finds time even though he's busy with Superman, because he has to! :argh:
