You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
One, Mexico aren't sending anyone here. People are escaping to the US.
I'm not saying what he said was true or not. I have no idea. All I'm saying is that it wasn't racist.
Second, the vast majority are not rapist and murderers.
Right. No one said otherwise.
He is labeling a group of people based on where they are from and the color of their skin.
What did he label a group of people?
He assume some are good people. The vast majority do not commit crimes. This is fear mongering based on race.
I am not sure what you are saying here.
BTW, 100% of illegal immigrants commit a crime.
It is textbook racism to say someone cannot do their job based on their race.
I agree. But Trump never said that.
That is what he did. To imply he didn't is not only wrong, it also places Trump is a very odd situation of saying only someone who is white, male, rich and straight can judge him, because he has dumped on everyone else. Even his own Republicans said it was racist.
I don't think you're caught up. First of all, just because someone else calls it racist doesn't make them right. Again, he said that the judge was biased against him because of Trump's battle with Mexico. Mexico is a nation, not a race. Trump's rhetoric has put him at odds with Mexico and those loyal to Mexico. Trump saying the judge was too bias to to his job was stupid but it wasn't based on race, it was based on Mexican heritage. Again, not defending Trump here just trying to get everyone off of the "everything he says is racist" because the climate we are in doesn't need it.
More then once has Trump and his people have said only certain Muslims, then all Muslims, them Muslims from certain countries. While doing that not realizing that a Muslim from Belgium or France would qualify, because you know, he wouldn't consider someone white Muslim.
Being a Muslim does not define your race so this should be thrown out immediately. Also, the Muslims that attacked in Belgium and France were from France and Belguim. The Muslim that attacked Orlando was from the US. That's why he said at first to ban Muslims from Syria, Iraq and other known terrorist hotspots, changed it to all Muslims and then after severe pressure came back to Muslims from known terrorist hotspots. This is about National Security and has nothing to do with racism. Is it an isolationist foriegn policy? Yes. Is it smart? No. Does it unfairly target a large religious group? Yes. Is it racist? No.
How many times has the origin of a President been questioned? How many times has Trump implied that Obama is a secret Muslim, potentially knowing that these attacks are coming? You think he'd think a President was from Kenya if he wasn't part black?
Well Obama's father was Muslim and from Kenya. That's where I would start. How many American Presidents had non-Christian fathers? The answer is none. So when someone attacks someone due to their religion, why confuse and obstruct that complaint into something else to fit your narrative when there is plenty of evidence to take Trump for his word? Why make it about race when race was never brought up? Again, another silly thing for Trump to do, but I think it's just as silly to conjecture that it was all about race. Again, I am tired of everyone taking the easy way out and blaming everything on racism.
So I ask again, how was the Dilbert blogger wrong?
