and thats a good thing? he has done nothing interesting so far this season. i don't expect that to change. he says he won't fight jor-el and embrace his destiny but give it a couple of episodes and he will be shouting at the fortress again:whatever:

He escaped from the Phantom Zone, fought Zod, imprisoned him, developed super breath, met the Green Arrow, fought the Green Arrow and then saved his butt, learned about his heritage from another Kryptonian, repowered the Fortress of Solitude, and then decided to finish his training once all the PZ escapees were captured/destroyed of which he's already taken on 3 of them, and then had a run in with the Martian Manhunter.

Sounds like it was interesting to me, for only 8 episodes. What more did you want?

Don't you know? Not only is Clark the ultimate illegal immigrant in the DC universe, but n Marvel Comics the new Ultimate series is called Ultimate Illegal Immigrant. :wow: :cwink: :oldrazz:

Reading this it doesn't sound so bad...

But you know how inaccurate the "official" descriptions sometimes are...

They regularly list the wrong director, sometimes even the wrong writers, have guest character names wrong, etc.

It's no fun bein' an illegal alien...

escaped from phantom zone, fought zod- first episode - amazing. wish the rest was like that.

superbreath- he had a cold, realised he could blow things. not exactly thrilling

green arrow- whooped him in the cool factor, fought him? he pushed him twice and GA has no chance against clark anyway. hes not exactly stretching himself

raya and the fortress- a whole episode to realise he was wrong. Something we already knew in the first place

training- he says he's going to go. that would mean trusting jor -el. i'm sceptical.

martian manhunter- run in? he saved his ass. no lines nothing- hardly spectacular

i don't know what i want. All i know is that i'm disappointed. At first i thought he needed an overarching storyline- but he does have one. its the same as always- becoming superman- just more concentrated ths season. most of the episodes revolve around something else just for clark to come along and fight the freak of the week. everyone else has character stories except clark (not counting fallout). with clark doing a little investigation into a phantom along side. Hopefully the arrival of the martian will spice tings up on the clark front.:oldrazz:

i`m also disappointed with season 6 so far..
i never thought that i could say this but i miss all those freaks from season 1 and 2.

zoners or freaks??

i thought that zoners will have super powers and they will be different than just freaks..
but the zoner from wither disappointed me so bad,she was gone in like 3 seconds.
freaks,please,hehehhe

it isn't the whole season i'm disappointed in it's just clark and god help me Lex and lana. Green arrow is why i keep watching

You know what, I think you're right. These zoners are beaten fairly easily. Baern was the only one that was any real threat.

And on a side note, why does all of the escape "Zoners" have superspeed? It's getting annoying. If you establish that the prisoners aren't from Krypton, then why give everyone superspeed? Why not give them teleportation powers or something.

I still like this season alot better than seasons 4 and 5 up to this point.

Jed?

A poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed???

LOL! That was the first thing that popped into my head when I read Jed too.

I think this episode sounds okay, and its an interesting dilemma for Clark to find himself in and have to deal with. I like that.

And there's no mention of Lex or Lana in the description, so that is a BIG bonus. Caroline Dries wrote it and I believe she wrote Cyborg which was great.

I'm looking forward to this. Its Clarkcentric. YAY!!! :woot:

I believe by the description this will be a nice episode. Loved the parallels between the immigrants and Clark being the ultimate immigrant..

biggest issue with this ep isthat it does not seem relevant or needed. some may like frivolous stuff but i want the plot to move along. now with this and the winter hiatus- it will be the end of january before anything important happens.

Ah yes, no more frivolous stuff. Lets move the plot along; it is indeed important. Luckily enough, the biggest doozy (for me) is right around the corner, though not in this particular episode...

"Important": Lois kisses Clark thinking he's Green Arrow and then realizes GA can't be Oliver because the kiss was "too damn steamy, and better than Oliver ever was." Only then does dawn break over Clark's marble head.
Y'know, I think I finally have something to look forward to that I *won't* be disappointed with when it finally arrives -- unlike Static.

How odd?

^ That last post above isn't showing up on the main thread listing page. Looks like the board gremlins are at it again. LOL

LOL noticed the same thing this morning.

Regarding the episode, Craig predicts that this will be a very bad episode, but Hydro, Justice & Labyrinth are all very, very good episodes, he added, and Labyrinth is all Clarky. :)

If Subterranean is worse than Static, I think I'm going to do something rash...

Maybe I'll burn Al & Miles in effigy...

I'd have to hurt somebody. I can't FATHOM an ep being worse than Static (other than Spirit :p ).

Labyrinth all Clark? Bring it on. Thank GOODNESS!

this could be a average episode, but assume it will be on par[or be simliar] with last years episode about that girl who could control Glass and her evil father who could aslo control glass.

If this is as bad, or worse than 'Static', you won't have to. I'll have already thrown itching powder at them ... who needs burning in effigy when you can make the real people *feel* like they're burning.

I guess my break from the boards hasn't made me any less cruel.

Craig lives for the mythology episodes, me thinks. This episode probably will be pure filler, but alot of us, especially those that watch this show for Clark, are okay with that because we really just like to be entertained.

I also think its going to be a nice change of pace from Greenarrowville and Lexanaville. :ninja:

Welcome back to the Boards James!

^^^ LOL Pat! :woot:

I just realised that I put Lanaville, and I meant Lexanaville. Do you still agree with me?
