Ah yes, no more frivolous stuff. Lets move the plot along; it is indeed important. Luckily enough, the biggest doozy (for me) is right around the corner, though not in this particular episode...

"Important": Lois kisses Clark thinking he's Green Arrow and then realizes GA can't be Oliver because the kiss was "too damn steamy, and better than Oliver ever was." Only then does dawn break over Clark's marble head.
Y'know, I think I finally have something to look forward to that I *won't* be disappointed with when it finally arrives -- unlike Static.

i'm looking forward to justice- more green arrow yay and hopefully more clark being useful. And then labyrinth. its gonna be a good jan/feb. i guess i have to get through the molemen. :woot:

Nothing really new, other than the line I put in bold. :woot:

John Novak will appear on "Smallville"

Fans of "The Dukes of Hazzard" know the CW's "Smallville" as the most recent TV show John Schneider (aka, Bo Duke) has starred on. Well, "Santa Barbara" fans take note and tune in, especially if you're a fan of the wily district attorney, Keith Timmons: John Novak, who took over the Keith role in later years, will star in the Thursday, December 7 episode of the popular show about the young Clark Kent.

Novak will play a character named Jed McNally, neighbor to Clark in Smallville. In the episode, called "Subterranean," Clark learns that McNally is holding migrant laborers captive and forcing them to work on his farm. Clark decides to solve the problem (as he so often does -- no cape and tights yet, but this guy's a real hero). Caroline Dries wrote the episode, which was directed by Rick Rosenthal.

It's fun to see Novak playing slimy and evil again. He also appeared in a 2005 episode of "Smallville," by the way, playing a Metropolis University football coach. Currently, he's working on the TV movie "Last Chance Cafe," also starring Kevin Sorbo of "Hercules" fame.

Just finished watching November 30th's repeat episode of "Sneeze" and at the end they showed a trailer for "Subterranean". I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. When I heard of the plot storyline, I wasn't very interested. However, it looks pretty intense with some of the 'bodies in the field scenes'.

So did they show Martian Manhunter again in todays Smallville episode?

^No MM in tonight's episode... it was a repeat of Sneeze.

For anyone who may have missed it... James has the trailer for Subterranean posted on www.tomwelling.org.

I miss having James around. :(

I have pretty low expectations of this episode considering it was supposed to come right after Arrow. Who knows? Maybe they'll surprise me.

Wait, are they gonna show us level 33.1 in this episode? Cause that's what it looked like in the preview for this ep.

I guess so...

Interesting.

I wonder how much sense this episode is going to make since it is being shown 4 episodes later than it had been originally intended....

So wait... this ep is getting a bad wrap already because its broadcast window was shifted?

I think we should wait till after it airs before we start wondering how much "sense" it will make given its continuity placement. It might be completely stand-alone, or it might have made more sense in the big picture to have it air at this point. We won't know till we see it. :)

I would hope it's been edited for continuity somewhat like they did with Redux

I'm looking forward to it. It's a new episode, and apparently (hopefully) Clark-centric.

the 33.1 referance really hightened my expectations for this episode. i too hope it is clark centric. i was worried that because it was so easy to move around it was a stand alone story that meant nothing

I know, I'm just wondering...

I didn't mean I hate it already or anything, they've probably cut around the continuity problems caused by them being shown out of order...

Or, at least I hope so. ;)

I knew this was gonna surprise people. The trailer got a positive reaction from all over the place, and after Static, it can't get any worse.

are you sure? you never know, an episode in real time of the lexana wedding- WITH NO CLARK. :(

I think it looks pretty damn cool.

Dead bodies and creepy stuff. Love it.

I'm not sure if I'd even watch such an episode. Seriously. No Clark? At ALL? Umm... That's a deal breaker. Yup yup.

I don't even watch Clark for the same reason you gals do, and I would be seriously ticked if a whole episode went by without Clark in it. "Static" was bad enough.

That would be pretty bad...

*shudders*

Well, not necessarily the wedding, but no Clark?

Yikes...

It's funny, 'cause as long as I get a decent amount of Clark, the "B" stories are rarely an issue.

Give me Clark and I'm good.
Give me shirtless Clark and I'm great.
Give me shirtless Clark in a long, sexy liplock, and I'm...

Lexana who? What wedding? Somebody's getting married?

LOL Patsy.

I agree, this show is about the growth and life of Superman before he put on tights. (Yea, that's right, I said he is Superman even without the tights. What'cha gonna do, wanna take it outside?!?:cmad: )

Even if an episode is passable, I hate when they relegate him to the B-plot. It just shouldn't happen. If it does, the episode better be more than Superb. (Example being Memoria) Or it better have a major plot point involving Clark. (Also example being Memoria.)

lexana- lazy shipper nickname-but you that already right?:woot:

Lexana - worst story arc in the history of SV, but you knew that already, right? :p

Bring back Lanabelle.
