6.17 Combat - Discussion Thread (spoilers)

I know that this is off topic but in the newest Supernatural was that Teryl Rothery aka Janet from Stargate SG-1 as that doctor in the beginning ? The doctor looked very familiar

I'm surprised y'all liked this ep. I thought it was Meh. The fight scene was awesome though.

LOL, I nearly pee'd my pants when Clark did his Tiger Uppercut.

Now ladies and gentlemen

I was just wondering if maybe anyone had to change they're underpants after that fight scene...I mean...

This episode definately rocked :D

A smallville first: vicious killer lesbian fighter

OH and I definately thought this would have been broadcasted over the internet. Then clark would have had to find a disguise afterwards (glasses :D). oh well.

It was like two gods were fighting. DAMN I WANT TO EXPERIENCE SOMETHING LIKE THAT AT THE MOVIES

HINT

HINT

OFF TOPIC, BUT...

That fight club announcer, love that guy's personality- definitely a type of tone possible to go with Spider-Man's agent (in the "origin" story aspect).
i agree. and did anyone else but me remember spider-man 1 wen peter entred that cage match and first got his name when clark entered the ring? very similar.

The A Story was certainly entertaining, but I think the B Story (things with this baby finally coming to a head) is what put this one up a few notches.

An awesome Smallville, a good-so-far Supernatural, and a Spidey 3 trailer at midnight?

This is what heaven must be like. :woot:

uuuuhhh, that last scene was creepy, the baby pics .....the fire around lex as it closed, good stuff

^^i dont think he intends to kill her, i really think he just meant medical record wise and whatever he is hiding about the baby^^

lex is probably dissapointed that his experiment failed with inpregnating woman(lana being the test subject) so now he'll test tube the whole project and let it grow for 15 to 16 years

omg this had got to been the best episode throughout the whole smallville series. now that is the superman we all know and love. clark actually fought back instead of whimping out. im now glad that lana mariied lex and bringing this side of clark out. the fightingwas incredible. best fighting ever seen in smalville

So was it the drink, sparkling cider, that Lex gave Lana that had a drug to kill the baby? Did Lex's dreams get to him and he might actually love Lana and not wanna put her through birthing a monster.

omg i didnt even think about that until now. All this time with him studying Clark as well...:wow: the whole DNA angle...CONSPIRACY!!!

well it seems like it because there was a close up and no noise when lana drank it. and an expression on lexxes face.

:wow: @ tonight's SPN.

What a wonderful night of television this has been.

i agree with EVERY single word you just said!:woot:

How come Supernatural gets all of the coming soon previews & not Smallville

Worst smallville episode ever. How could they not even touch upon last weeks revelations. Why are we stuck with terrible WWE wannabe actors and cheesy dialogue. I mean, Lana knows Clarks secret now. And not only that, we have to wait how long now before we get a new episode?
This show is starting to piss me off.

so much for the argument that clark hasnt fought anyone yet.

Great fights, one of the most enjoyable episodes in awhile :)

What I gathered: Ma Kent and Clark arguing over what he should and should not do is foreshadowing the Superman we know. Also, Lana losing the baby is a bit of karma for Lex a la Momma Luthor killing Lex's kid brother because she didn't want Lionel to disturb another human. I think Lana did the same.

What I liked for reference, but didn't like for obvious reasosns: Titan was a "genetically ehanced Kryptonian." Granted, the reapers were put in place for a reason, and Clark must stop them. But a "genetically enhanced Kryptonian" was great for reference, but put a bad taste in my mouth.

All in all, I enjoyed the show and look forward to more. However, I am sick of watching Days of our Smallville.

And the winner for most flip flops in one season?

Martha Kent.

Give her a round of applause, ladies and gentlemen. That's my girl. :p

well she is a politician now ;)
