Seriously?

That's such a strange thing to post to the public. Even if they weren't friends anymore you'd think he'd keep it to himself.

He's also the godfather of Hardys son. That's really unfortunate. :(

Maybe he meant training wise or something?

To be clear, he didn't post it openly. Someone asked and he responded that Tom and him are not longer in each others' lives and left it at that.

Sad to hear. Him and Tom had a very close relationship :csad:

It is very sad to hear. I hope they'll be able to make up sometime down the road. :(

i wondering if someone on SHH will aks if the reason is Hardy's success and money.

oh it was me he :)

I watched the TDKR prologue on friday night. I was alright.

The main reason I went to MI:4 was to see it. And I walked out of the movie thinking about how much I liked MI:4. I had completely forgot about the TDKR . My friend who's also a huge Nolan fan felt the same way. After the 6 mins ended we whispered to each other almost word for word "that wasn't as good as the joker prologue in TDK."
I truly and honestly did not understand ANYTHING Bane said. And I read the spoiler transcript! My girlfriend understood him more than me.
The acting was pretty bad. Like as if someone from the CIA would be yelling. "Hi. I'm CIA!" The whole good/bad cop hanging the prisoners out the window thing was lame. Even if I was the prisoner I'd be laughing under the sheet at the 'CIA' agents lame attempt at scaring me. Bane doing that whole blood transfusion thing seemed so awkward and clumsy.
I don't know, the whole thing felt rushed and unpolished compared to the bank heist in TDK. The track 'Why so serious' worked so well during that. The lighting, editing was top notch. Also the scene where joker kills the bus driver is way cooler than anything Bane did as he mumbled and clumsily climbed over the seats.

I just felt like I saw this kind of action scene before with 'SkyHook' in TDK and other movies like Executive Decision, Dropzone etc to name a couple. I thought I'd be blown away but it just a scene from Inception2.
I did like the Montage at the end though. And I LOVE trailer#2. ;)

haters gonna hate.

I agree, the CIA *****e is TERRIBLE at acting. His lines felt like he forgot to rehearse. Just the way he said his lines felt very fake and amateur to me.

My only disagreement with you, WomryT, has to do with the "clumsy and unpolished" part. Considering that the TDK prologue had several glaring editing mistakes, this prologue was really well put together. And the stunts were more than phenomenal.

Am I the only one who loves the CIA *****ebag for being a first class... well, *****ebag?

I thought the scene being similar to Batman's Hong Kong mission was actually very appropriate.

Like Facebook, people ***** about their problems.

Except in this case, people care for some reason. Because Tom Hardy is famous now.

I have seen the prologue, and I thought the CIA "*****e" was an amazing actor. He did incredibly well and just the fact that people are responding by saying "he's a *****e, oh I hate him" means that he did do his job. You weren't supposed to like him, and you didn't, because he's a great actor. I especially liked his delivery on the line "Tell me what you know about Bane!!" Very cool prologue and very cool acting all around.

Yes, theres some weird editing in the bank heist for sure(and acting).
The TDKR prologue was ambitious and the effects were very realistic. I just wasn't blown away.
I'm really looking forward to watching the whole thing though. I'm just not going to lie that this got me excited. :)

For what its worth I think the Two prologues are so different they really can't be prepared.

One is the introduction of a character and one is a introduction to the rest of the film.

TDKR's prologue leaves a lot of questions while TDK's was self contained.

I can see why people think that TDK's prologue is more well put together but, I personally don't think it's any better, just set out to achieve a much different goal

no. His arrogant, lofty, stupidity is part of the character. Its strange people don't get that.

Yeah. I mean, it's hilarious how this character is the living embodiment of "epic fail"!

I liked the idea, the way it played out, The Joker's introduction.

It was just a fantastic way to start a film.

This one kinda moves too fast. Doesn't give any breath time. It's cool...but I wish they would slow it down a bit/

I thought this too. I think the CIA Guy was overacting like that to seem in control, which in reality he was not. As the scene progresses, we realise that Bane's the one in control and CIA Guy desperately tries to 'regain control' as his overracting increases.

I'm going to venture a guess that you will enjoy the TDKR prologue better when the rest of the film is with it. Maybe not better than the TDK prologue but I think people are missing that the TDKR prologue is really more connected with the rest of the film while TDK's was really almost totally independent of the rest of the film

The TDK prologue would work as it's own short film that just happens to build to a crescendo where the money shot is the unveiling of a huge cultural icon. From that point of view it was always going to have more of an impact.

Maybe it's just how he was directed--to be a fake *****ebag. That actor is pretty good in The Wire and Game of Thrones (where he also plays *****ebags, oddly enough).
