Yeah, he doen't need to. After the disappointment of yesterday, he probably wasn't up for it, which is understandable.
What disappointment?

RiM was confident that they'd show the second trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man at the expo, and got their boards raving about it. Just ended up being an updated version of the comic con footage, nothing substantial. What disappointment?
Don't see why they wouldn't show both.

Why would they share the spotlight? :S
You weren't hoping for a new description of the upcoming trailer? Well, okay. That wasn't the disappointment. We'd kill to see the SDCC footage.
We were expecting some news on a trailer release date and banners that RIM mentioned.

So was anything shown at the expo? What did RIM say? Still going on?
It's been done before.
When I watched First Class I got a trailer for both Captain America and Green Lantern.
Like I said it's not out of the question in the least.

Oh so they showed the new trailer(YES!), but he skipped it, so now we get no descriptions.
I...I...no...no....NO!...this...NO!

There was someone in Russia who did attend the event and tweeted that it was a 'teaser'. Probably wasn't new.Oh so they showed the new trailer(YES!), but he skipped it, so now we get no descriptions.

Umm, because you knew you wouldn't get footage of it due to tight security, and you already have a description of it? Not substantial for the forums, no, unless you get a surprise leak. How isn't that substantial? None of us have seen the Comic Con footage.
Yep. But I'm saying, why would they? Unless they're getting paid an insane amount of money to promote a competitor's movie, which will also be one of the biggest movies of 2012... I doubt it'll happen.
