:lmao:

Anybody think that the audio will be fixed by thursday?

It's just one writer reporting that. Let's wait and see in 12 hours.

More about accent, it's not like Hardy will speak with an extreme accent just because. It will probably be more generic of an accent and the phrasing and delivery is what will matter.

"guttural commands", I like that.

I'm glad I never bought that "leaked" description we got from certain members.

The plate of giant crow is being sent right over. With a giant side of I told ya so. :)

He told us it was the plane crash though. He was right.

We already knew about there being a plane scene long before Rocketman wrote all that dribble.

@TheInSneider Did Nolan say if we can expect the trailer tomorrow?

@NoGood4Me From what I understand, if U wanna see the TDKR trailer ASAP, you'll have to pay to see SHERLOCK HOLMES 2, which I hear is good.

@NoGood4Me Nolan trailers debut in theaters, not online. Smart strategy by WB.

He told us it was the plane crash though. He was right.

ONE detail. About the ten that he "leaked" to a few "prestigious and worthy" board members. :whatever: Give me a break.

It is a plane crash, but not about the League of Shadows it seems. So that debunks a lot of his crap.

That article says we're looking at a hijacking. That's clears some things up. Forget a bomb, they've got a Bane on board.

He told us it was the plane crash though. He was right.

I don't wanna be that guy but ever since we heard of a prologue I've guess it would be the plane crash scene we got reports and set-pics of being filmed in the summer.

I'd put doubt on both CinemaBlend and Sneider. They've both have gotten bits of info wrong in the past.

I don't think Nolan wanted those lines to be heard.

Doubtful of this. Nolan is notorious for using really bad sounding on set dialogue.

And yet, if that IS the game he is playing at here, then it is just another drop in the bucket of him being a certified genius.

I'm just saying that if a voice is purposefully distorted, it seems highly reasonable for common people and reviewers to not grasp all the lines. Makes sense, no?

True, but I severely doubt that Nolan would intentionally distort Bane's voice to the point where the audience cannot identify what Bane is uttering about.

WB has nothing to gain from releasing the trailer a whole week before SH2. I'm not expecting it tomorrow/today.

Forget a bomb, they've got a Bane on board.

Baney on board
How I've adored
That sign on my plane's windowpane.
Bounce in my step,
Loaded with pep,
'Cause I'm flying' in the deadpool lane.
Call me a square,
Friend I don't care,
'Cause that little yellow sign can't be ignored.
I'm telling you it's mighty nice.
Each trip's a trip to paridise
With my BANEY on board.

Planes and Bane. In IMAX. That's what you're going to get next Friday (12/16) when you see the first six minutes of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES in front of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE GHOST PROTOCOL. And as soon as it's finished, you're going to be screaming for the projectionist to run it again.

While we've run a ton of DARK KNIGHT RISES news on this site, I've steered clear of most of it. Aside from casting, I want to remain unspoiled until I'm sitting in an IMAX theater next July, ready to watch the final chapter of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. So I have no idea where this film is headed, who's going to die, who's going to get their back broken, and how Selina Kyle is going to figure into the narrative.

But I saw Bane tonight. I also saw a stunningly complex, practically-staged action sequence in IMAX. And while I'd love to break it down beat-by-beat, Warner Bros. has asked all journalists to stick to generalities. So...

Nolan introduced tonight's event, and he extolled the immersive virtues of the IMAX format before plunging us into footage - which starts in 35mm widescreen with Gordon eulogizing Harvey Dent. Then we're being whisked across a field. And a few minutes later, aboard a plane, we hear Bane speak for the first time in a horrible, strangled tone. Tom Hardy's Bane is a substantial, but strangely broken man. He's a bruiser, but not exactly massive. He also struggles with his elocution, which may be intentional, but nevertheless resulted in lots of puzzled post-screening discussions. Honestly, I caught probably half of Bane's dialogue, and every colleague I spoke with had similar difficulty understanding him. I hate to cause problems for Nolan at this stage of the filmmaking process, but if Bane sounds like this throughout the film, it could be an issue.

The footage concludes with a montage of shots that gives us a pretty good sense of what Batman is up against (and how Gotham City might tear itself apart). This is going to be a huge movie. No one gets to make a film on this kind of scale anymore. Except for Christopher Nolan. He's brought a physical, David Lean-esque scale to the superhero genre. July can't get here soon enough.

So basically Bane is held hostage on the plane and his henchmen take over, unlock Bane's shackles, and then take over the plane and capture the scientist? Something isn't adding up...

Thanks for that update.

In the comments section of the CinemaBlend article:

Daddychris0711:

soooo the first official trailer will be online tomorrow and we dont have to wait til sherlock holmes 2????

Eric Eisenberg (the writer of the article):

That is correct! We should have it up at around 10am PST tomorrow!

Still don't believe it, but he sure does sound certain.

Right but I think that confirms that Nolan did not announce anything.

Yup, Nolan presented the trailer and said what he had to say on that and nothing more it seems.

What happens now is up to WB marketing.
