Selina Kyle, as a prisoner, is being walked down the men section of the prison. A warden is reading off her wrap sheet, then a prisoner calls out to her. She says something like "Oh baby you want to hold my hand?" He reaches his hand out of jail cell bars and she breaks it.

Nice. I missed that rumor the first time.

After reading all these articles and such, I actually might not watch any bootlegs. I think I might go into this as dark as possible.

Bane moves the Doctor from one plane to another? Or they capture him on ground and then escape in a plane?

Capture him on the ground and then move him to their plane. This is the original description that leaked, which says that Bane actually hijacks a plane the CIA are loading the scientist onto:

It is one of the assassinations ordered by Ra’s al Ghul. A mind blowing action sequence set aboard the Hercules plane, involving some innovative camera work a la Inception hallway fight scene. Bane and his mercenaries hijack a military plane transporting a dictator of a country which is in unrest (think Saddam Hussein type figure). He successfully kills the leader, but makes some mistakes along the way and is unable to safely land the plane. Because of the resulting injuries from the accident, he has to undergo complicated surgeries and that is how he winds up with that scar down his neck and the need for the mask to numb the pain.

Yeah none of my Imax's will be playing the Prologue it sucks.

NOOOOO!!! I missed everything. Thanks alot FINALS. *facepalm*

So I know I'm late and I'm sorry but can I get a recap please? I know 6-minute prologue was screened and "light" details have been revealed on SHH but am I to understand that most of you guys have also seen footage as well?

I mean I read some of your posts (i.e. "catwoman prison scene", "Bane sounds awesome") and it seems as tho the prologue has been leaked. Is this so?

Just woke up and seen the Slashfilm video review of the Prologue.

Seeing them go crazy is fantastic:i cant wait to see it myself.
---------------

Maybe we will see the 1minute clip on that viral site.

You've missed nothing except debate about Bane's voice. The article will catch you up on what's relevant.

Interesting. Well, that description is obviously wrong lol. All the articles make it seem like the majority of the prologue is on the plane, though. Which confuses me, because after they've kidnapped the Doctor and board the plane, what else do they do? Just sit around and talk?

Still wish we had a blow by blow description. Or some lines (what could be heard) from Bane.

Yeah this sounds incredible.

This is making me actually want to go see the prologue in San Francisco dammit but the money. :(

I'm conflicted.

Same here. I don't want to have to pay for parking as well as the damn bridge toll.

I'm thinking of taking BART and leaving the car in the BART parking lot.

But still the round trip is around 7-8 bucks and the ticket itself is quite a bit. Eh, I need to sleep on this.

Wow... I'm underwhelmed. So we basically still know nothing other than that the press was blown away, they haven't dubbed over that awful Heinz field voice, and that the montage has a cool scene (but we all expected that). I still feel I know nothing about what this plane crash consists of since it was first initially rumoured.

It's somewhat correct.

My thinking is this: they begin to transport the doctor (not a militia leader and obviously not an assassination ordered by Ghul) to the Hercules plane. At this point, Bane and his crew interrupt and wreak havoc. They escape to the plane with the dictator in hand, but the firefight spills into the plane and they take off, but the plane itself is damaged and has to crash land before completely taking a nose dive. Perhaps this is where the footage cuts and we see flashes of the rest of the film.

The footage is getting praised and you consider the news underwhelming?

We do have some information. We know that it's a hijacking, that it goes awry, and that Bane is injured when it crashes.

I ran into Eli Roth, Edgar Wright, Bryan Singer, and heard that Duncan Jones, Michael Bay, Jon Favreau, and more than a few other big name directors saw the footage about an hour before us.

Collider said:
Producer Emma Thomas told me that The Dark Knight Rises will have a lot more IMAX footage than The Dark Knight. While it’s still too early to tell the exact number, she thinks it could be between 40-50 minutes. Again, let me stress that number could change.

  • Eli Roth tweeted “I just saw the most incredible #DarkNightRises footage in IMAX. Mind blown.”
  • Edgar Wright slyly teased on twitter: “Am I allowed to say I saw 6 minutes of ‘Dark Knight Rises’ on IMAX?”
  • DC writer/chief creative officer Geoff Johns tweeted “Bane is AWESOME.”
Neat.

I really do hope we get a Bane Villian poster for this movie. I work at a Movie theater and I would so request it when it comes out.

Lucky! You'll have access to the goods...

I'll be grabbing the first one I can get my hands on, surely. Now just wonder where i'll fit it, what with all of my TDK posters...
and considering i'll need one of Catwoman too :word:

No, I'm underwhelmed at what has actually been revealed. I already expected it to be praised.

We know Rocketman's "description" was way off base for starters.

As for the plane mention it could have been made by anyone seeing as it was one of the earliest parts being filmed.
