Can someone please direct me to a prologue description?

Beware DA SPOILERS though

IGN -The CIA is making a deal with local militia to turn Dr. Pavel over to them. Needless to say, Bane throws a wrench into the CIA's machine.

The CIA picks up their prisoner, Dr. Pavel, from some local militia who also offer the spies a bonus: Three prisoners with ties to the notorious masked mercenary known as "Bane." As the CIA's black ops flight soars over the countryside, we soon realize the CIA agent (played by The Wire and Game of Thrones' Aidan Gillen) is not as in control as he believes.

One of the masked prisoners is in fact Bane. The CIA are, in fact, his prisoner. The CIA agents learn the hard way not to mess with Bane in a mid-air action sequence.

Uses a set-piece that nods to the CIA "Skyhook" extraction maneuver Batman borrowed for his Hong Kong mission in the last film.

Hardy's Bane voice sounded distinct and cool.

There was brief new footage of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and Selina Kyle, Christian Bale as Batman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's John Blake, the new Bat-aerial assault vehicle, massive brawling on the streets of wintry Gotham, and, of course, Hardy as Bane. The final awesome shot of Bane will send a chill up the spine of every Bat-fan!

Bane is British and unintelligible. Now someone explain me how a revolutionary statesman (which Bane is clearly turning out to be) is supposed to collect support if he's barely understood?

Nolan is way too proud to resort to ADR and probably gonna leave Bane's voice untouched, just like he did with Batman's deep voice in TDK. Now we will have fans and the whole Hype discussing which mumblings are better, Bane's or Batman's. Just GREAT!

Unfortunately, the handful of people that make a living out of disturbing the other users by bringing down Nolan and every single aspect of TDKR may be finally right, this movie is turning out to be a huge disappointment.

Best description yet. And it all sounds totally awesome to me.

Yeah, and that's what has me a little concerned. The first scene they've shown and there's already people buzzing about an unintelligible voice.

I hope it's not a bad omen. Don't think I could stand listening to another round of voice complaints :oldrazz:
This. I'm sick of the way characters sound being an issue when it shouldn't be.

So we don't get to see Bane's transformation into.. Bane?

What is Catwoman doing?

Sounds okay.. not incredible like Wally said, but better than the other prologue descriptions I've read.

Bane being british is being totally blown out of proportions. Don't see how that is a big deal at all.

That's the way I feel. I'm waiting for an in deph description so that I can actually hear something "mind blowing", but it's taking it's time to come. ChrisB said he's confident his source will do so, but we're waiting for him to wake up :oldrazz:

I wouldn't go as far as to say that - we haven't seen a single scrap of decent footage other than the teaser trailer. I'm going to reserve judgement on the quality of the entire film until I've a chance to see it.

This is Nolan we're talking about. I'm sure we'll see Bane's transformation at some point in the film. Just not right at the beginning.

That said, I do hope that Nolan is playing a trick on all of us, and come next week we'll have a completely different voice for Bane.

It's not that, it's about him sounding unintelligable like Batman in the last one. I hate to see the production leaving themselves so vulnerable to the naysayers like they did with the last film, like someone earlier said it seems like Nolan's just too proud to dub over these voices.

Eeeerm, who told you there is no ADR involved? A WB exec (or Nolan, or both) also said that the voice will be fixed. And Batman's voice in TDK WAS the result of Nolan tampering with it.

Haven't we already been told that the sound mix is NOT the final one that is going to be used? If so I'm pretty sure Nolan and Co. still have plenty of time (july 20, 2012) to go back and fix it if it is a big issue as has been stated.

Also this may be me reading too much into something, but it is highly possible that the words that were tough for anyone to understand (according to descriptions), are words that Nolan himself does not want us to hear just yet. In other words, Bane may be saying something that is so SPOILERIFIC that Nolan purposefully left the audio unintelligable to keep us from making it out. My reason for thinking this is that some of the descriptions of the prologue said that some of Bane's dialogue was easy to understand while some of it was not.

I think Bane's transformation should be at the prologue. Get people's blood pumping in anticipation for his debut in July.

I hope they make Bane's transformation really disturbing, Like Doc Ock's change in Spidey 2.

I wanna see him strapped to a table screaming as the Scientist surgically applies the mask. Maybe if Venom is used, we'll see his veins slightly bulge a bit, and his eyes go bloodshot.

I get a sense of disappointment from some. From what I've heard, it's an action opening. Action is hard to describe. I think seeing this is obviously the way to go. Other than a couple of noteworthy details (broken cowl, Catwoman), the prologue summaries don't seem to be enthusing very much. Probably because action is best visualised and not described.

You know I hardly loved the Bank Heist either until I saw it in IMAX. It probably is best to be seen, not read.

I don't think we're getting a different voice in the final product, but to believe Nolan and WB will leave the main villain's dialogue unintelligible is mind boggling.

I can see why some people would go for that. But it's too easy, and IMO it's not as grab-you-by-the-balls amazing as a James Bond-esque opening. Nolan wants his audience to be awake and paying attention right from the beginning.

The prologue we seem to have gives the audience a smack round the face and screams "PAY ATTENTION!"

Bearing in mind, this was taking place on a plane. There was probably a lot happening in the scene so maybe the background noises were too loud, added to the fact he has a mask on.

I don't know if this was posted earlier, but according to Slashfilm Nolan said the finished film will have over 50 mins of IMAX footage, more than double that of TDK.

Did ChrisB get his email yet? I passed out before the excitement :(

I hope Nolan goes back and cleans up Batman's voice in TDK for the inevitable boxset.

That sounds great. Very reminiscent of Joker's intro with the whole
Bane secretly being there hidden under a mask with everyone around him talking about him.
