7.07 - Wrath - Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

I'm just gonna say it's harder and harder to make Tom Welling look in his early 20's.

I'd take consistency over "damn near unbelievable" any day of the week.
Agreed.

Actually Lana being a witch didn't come out of nowhere. That's pretty canon to be honest. So it's not like it came from the writers directly. You'd have to blame the comics for that.
SV's witch Lana isn't anything like the comic's version, but that's nothing new. The non-witch version isn't either. :O

My HD wigs out all the time. I hate Comcast. :(

Oh hell, they lost that battle back in the fourth season. Now? Forget about it. LOL

I like my women who can legally drink alcohol.

she can in britain. cos we can handle it. lol. hence the binge drinkers. lol.

she's a bit young for me but if you're around her age, then go for it.

But thats just it Clark is responsible for it as he should have trusted her and never did till it was to late.
Clark's lies to her while as you say done out of love do not justify the fact he did lie about things she felt strongly about and it did affect the way she developed as a person.
Clark thinks he is responsible and I agree with him had he been honest from the start she may or may not have accepted him but she would not be the spiteful hateful person she is now.
Lana pre Clark's lies would never do the things she does now and would never had married Lex if Clark had told her the truth from the start.

I'll have to disagree. It is not Clark's responsibility to tell Lana his secret. Lana could have bailed on the relationship from the jump if it was that important for her to know. It's a slap in the face to Lana's character to believe that she is so impressionable that Clark or anyone else could decide on the type of person she is or will become. Lana's a grown woman who is very capable of making her own decisions. That is exactly why she told Clark that he blames himself way too much and that it's not his fault for the actions that she has done. Lana takes full responsibilty for her own mistakes.

I cant believe theres only one more new episode for the next two months.

Like this?

I DO wish the girlfights at my school were this brutal.
damn, what were the circumstances behind that and what episode did that occur in?

Do Clark and Lana ever get affectionate with each other? They dont ever kiss or even hug. For a couple, they come off pretty bland and it seems like such a letdown for those who waited so long to see them together

It was from Season Three, the episode was called 'Delete'. I honestly don't remember much about it, other than Missy Peregrym playing a computer expert and she somehow is able to control people through e-mail.

LOL. It was absurd back then and seems even more ridiculous reading that post. :o

Just saw this episode. CK and Lana having super sex....lol great!

Well, do you what you can once a week for 7 years with a series about an american icon who isnt the icon yet with superpowers growing up on a farm.

Even if that means witches and mind controllers.

i guess clark & lana are doing the whole buffy-angel in season 3 thing....

no sex or else. :csad:

if i were clark i'd make sure to do the power transfer thang w/ lana every night... :oldrazz:

but, when it came to 'wrath' it was Spike and Buffy. lol

They kind of addressed this in wrath.

I'm guessing a lot of it is interpretation, but the couple certainly weren't having sex. I'm going to go ahead and assume there was a lot of sexual tension between the two of them because of this.

With the stuff Lana was saying in Action, we can be certain that Clark was the one shutting down anything sexual. Action made it seem like Lana wanted to "jump his bone", so to speak, even if it killed her.

At least wrath had them kiss, even before the power exchange. I figured this episode would address a lot of their relationship issues.

So is there anyone Lois isn't going to tongue-wrestle with before she gets hooked on Superman?
