8.06 - Prey - Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

I think he waits until he's good and drunk before he comes here and posts. :(

Wow, here's a suprise. IGN actually gave SV a good rating, 8.8, saying that this was like a mold that every episode should be based on.

Honestly, I thought this was a decent episode but there was an equal mix of good and bad all throughout the episode to make this one of the top episodes of the season.

well-

i never went to school

i m school drop out sorry for my typoes

if they reboot superman movie they should base their superman more on SV superman than chritopher reeve superman

that is little bit dark and edgy like clark was in Prey

It's okay, b.
The guys are just teasing you. It's a sure sign of being a regular when the other regulars start razzing on you. ;)

We all make typos every now and then. Especially, after enjoying some mood-enhancing beverages. Not that I'd know anything about that.

^^also problem is i can't read

so i don't know where fix button is

back to topic did anyone notice X men refrence in beginning of episode

i also belive MM pretrending to lost his powers

and i Clark DO know that MM didn't loose his powers

That could be true. Since MM is keeping his human form. If he lost his powers he would revert to his true form and look like this....

Common sense doesn't tell you what they say, reading skills do.

Do you collect akshun figgers?

^^also problem is i can't read

Not to continue this off-topicness, but there's no way you could've registered for the forum if you couldn't read. Since, you know, you'd have to fill out multiple forms and check multiple boxes requiring you to read and comprehend the questions being asked.

And if you couldn't read, how would you know which forum is the right forum to post in? The right thread to post in? What the topic was?

.....But I digress. "Prey" was awesome. :)

I think if I were to look up the word hypocrite in the Dictionary, it would have Chloe Sullivan written as the definition.

I just wanted to say that I loved this episode! Sam brought depth to Davis and makes the character a tragic one. Phil Morris is brilliant once again. As I said before, Morris's delivery of his lines is epic and truly inspiring especially towards the end about Clark being a miracle. Here's hoping there's more to come from him. Although I miss Lois, I liked Clark being solo this week and ultimately learning the importance of being careful with his identity. What a great setup for the next episode.

On a sidenote...The show actually feels very fresh even though it is in its 8th season. Everything seems to be connecting from one episode to the next. I'm anxiously looking forward to Smallville every week moreso than that other superHeroes show. ;) It's a good feeling to have again with the show. Heck, I'm not even reading spoilers like I was during Season 7 when it was looking glooming for the show. Now, everything for the show's future seems bright.

AVID! :D

I agree by the way, Chloe was really in the wrong by not helping Clark in his investigation, considering their experiences in Krypto freaks. On top of that, she has done worse than he did during her career.

I thought this ep was decent. I was hoping for a big confrontation w/ Doomsday. The lack of Lois was really a downer for me. I don't believe I've ever missed her before. I liked the whole MM angle becoming a Detective. I'm really optimistic about this season right now.

I can understand people wanting to see a Doomsday confrontation but there's no way they're going to do it this early in the season. They'll want to build up to it.

yeah but its different for Chloe now she isn't trying to expose them now... she's trying to help them and how can she do that by pointing the finger at them for every crime that happens in Metropolis.

Best episode this season. Loved how Clark is saving people he is not connected too. Sam stole the show in this episode. Wasn't big on the character of Davis before but now I think he is one of the best things this season. The episode has so many little twists. Also loved MM telling Clark he needs to be more careful when saving people.

morris was awesome in this episode, loved the interaction with Jimmy soon as he went into the character I forgot it was MM lol

I SAW SEASON 9 POSTER OF SV (not kidding)

it showes Clark standing in Apocalypse (not the planet apokolips) like setting in Metropolis

with all the buildings crumbled down and there is half buried globe of daily planet

sky colours is reddish and sunn is also quiot dark redish

clark wearing is red javket like we usually see but he is holding a burned up amercan flag in one hand

and text on poster says Apokolips is upon us
