I was pretty content with the winners aside from Eddie Redmayne (Should of been Keaton damn it!!!!) and to a lesser extent Julianne Moore. (which should of been Rosamund Pike).

I ended enjoying this year's show more than I expected. The biggest downside to me is that they opened by bashing comic book films. And funnily enough, they closed by awarding a film that does the same thing (though it does get a few great jabs in at the opposite side).

Besides that, I thought it was pretty good.

P.S. They need to stop having people sing after the memoriam It always ruins that moment.

Yeah he did. I was only joking anyway, considering neither has a real chance at hosting.

Have I missed anything?

There are alot of actors who could have done this role justice (arguably improved upon it) and would have taken home that Oscar. Redmayne is an average actor, who got the right Oscar-bait role and played the game up until the very end.

He simply didn't deserve it. However, if you pander to the Academy just enough, then this will be the result.

Keaton got his little coda at the end of the night when the right film won Best Picture. A film that got there on the strength of his performance.

My problem with biopics in general but its just par for the course at the
Oscars.

The Oscars were okay this year. Nothing super great, and although Neil had some good moments, a good amount also fell flat. I wasn't really shocked with the awards. Ellen and Mcfarlane were much better.

I hope next year we can get Ricky Gervais or Louis CK. I also agree with Kane, Key and Peele would be great. Speaking of Peele, his Twitter is gold.

I just wanted Keaton to win to get that awesome speech you knew he was gonna have. The one thing that comes out of it is that he'll be getting offers out the ass now, and not just for B movies and the role of Ken in Toy Story.

Beetlejuice 2 will be the one we're all waiting on though. All the crazy ghost and haunting movies that have been released since the 80s, you know they'll poke fun.

I heard Redmayne was pretty bad. However, I thought Keaton was awesome in the movies I listed.
