I actually don't think I would mind seeing Dwayne Johnson host at some point. t: I think he would make for a fun and energetic show...and he's going to sing in Moana next year, and if he proves himself in that, maybe he could pull of a musical number too. The suggestions for hosts (non-joke ones, like Teller and Trank ) in this thread are really good too, especially Key and Peele. In fact, I'd be willing to say that WILL probably happen in the near future.

There will be hell to pay from me in Inside Out doesn't get Best Original Screenplay and Picture noms. I'd love to see Fury Road score more than just technical awards too, but I definitely won't hold my breath.

Also, does anyone think it's high time stuntmen and voice actors get more recognition from the Academy? So much necessary talent and hard work in those categories, still completely ignored.

I think Fury Road definitely has a chance of sweeping the technical awards, a George Miller should get a Best Director nod.

Tarantino will win Best Original Screenplay for his Hateful Eight script, mark my words.

The Danish Girl has a very good chance of winning, since the Academy (or more accurate the voters) love progressive films that match up with the current zeitgeist, and Eddie Redmayne will almost certainly get a Best Actor nod for the same reason.

I also find it very likely that Alejandro G. Innaritu's Birdman goodwill will carry over to this year and The Revanant will be a big winner.

Give Michael Wilkinson the Best Costumes award for BVS. I don't care if it's not out until 2016, just give it to him!

Eddie Redmayne wants that second Oscar so bad. Leonardo DiCaprio is praying that it doesn't happen. Daniel Day-Lewis will watch closely. He will return and get a 4th before Redmaybe can get a 3rd.
