Perry and Martha dating pisses me off because I have a huge fear (and I feel like this could realistically happen knowing TPTB) that somehow Clark moving up at the Daily Planet will be given to him, not earned due to this.

That really pisses me off...I am NOT feeling this angle at all. Did they really need them to get together as an excuse to bring both Perry and Martha back?!

I've always felt that after Jonathan, Martha would never try to hook up with anyone else.

Clark pretty much got his job at the Daily Planet handed to him, with no legit experience, being a college drop-out with no degree and applying for a vacant intern position MONTHS after it became available.. and yet still managed to get it

It wouldn't surprise me if Tess hired him to spy on him.

But at least he didn't pull a 'Lois Lane' and sleep with the boss.

B.P.: I can back that up 100 percent. It's not just Clark and Lois, it's really the relationship between the Blur and Lois, and Clark and Lois that drives all the way up into the last few minutes of the finale. It's one of the bigger cliff-hangers at the end of this season, what happens with them.

Seeing the Smallville-verse Lois and Perry teaming up for the first time is a dream come true and sounds awesome.

I love the Lois and Perry team up. I'm just not so keen on the Martha and Perry relationship.

nice to have the full description. Cant wait to see perry and lois together. As for the martha/perry thing sure its a bit of a wtf thing. But i am willing to see where it goes.

I wonder if they will explain Martha having any initial reservations about going out with Perry. I mean he basically harassed Clark the last time he was in Smallville...

Meh, it don't bother me.

It could prove to be an interesting twist, as it's sure to be temporary. Perry gained a respect for Clark the last time he was in Smallville, and said he would always be there if Clark needed anything.

Martha and Perry dating will have no effect on the Perry/Clark relationship in the future.

The last time Perry was on this show didn't he tell clark look me up if you ever wanted a job?
