Despite promos on NBC and even though I absolutely adore Tina Fey and Amy Poehler together...I still find myself forgetting that the Golden Globes are tonight. Even with the shows I liked last year that I hope win, same with performances, I don't feel all that interested in watching it this year compared to previous ceremonies.

Andra Day deserved the recognition because she absolutely captured the soul and spirit of Lady Day in her performance. She should probably should have won best song too. Either “Tigress & Tweed” or H.E.R.’s “Fight For You” are the best original songs I’ve heard in movies this year.

Andra Day is also the first Black woman in 35 years to win the Best Lead Actress Golden Globe.

The BAFTA nominations were wild like "This year they noone should complain about the lack of diversity" :D Oscar Nominations could be really interesting.

I'm so torn on what the BAFTAs did today.
On one hand, I LOVE Radha Blank finally getting recognition for The Forty-Year-Old Version, but I'm shocked they snubbed Carey Mulligan. Then in Best Actor, I love that Mads Mikkelsen finally got some love, but no Steven Yeun? What?
