My whole take is, thinking that Bassett had the best performance aside, I don't even think JLC had the strongest supporting actress performance in EEAAO. If anything I thought that was Stephanie Hsu.

I'm not completely angry about it because I love Jamie Lee Curtis but still...

Yeah from here on out the big awards seem pretty predictable. EEAAO is a shoo-in for Best Picture and Best Director. I think Yeoh is a safe bet for Best Actress. Best Actor is probably the only one that is still a bit of a toss up between Fraser and Butler.

I'll be taking a break from the show to tune in to The Last of Us season finale at 9 so I'm sure the waterworks that started for me with Ke Huy Quan's win will keep coming.

She’s pretty much Hollywood royalty and I adore her, but Angela Bassett deserved it. Sometimes, it’s just a movies year. I honestly think that Cate Blanchett deserves to win, but I don’t think she will.
