Since things like "A-lists" are as much a product of common consensus as anything else, I thought we'd start our own little poll to find out who this board considers to be the cream of the crop of the X-men.
A-List
Put everyone you think is an A-lister here. A-listers are the one's who have huge fanbases, get used the most often in stories and crossovers, and always make it into adaptations such as video games and cartoons. Fan interest is always pretty high on these folks.
B-list
This is for those characters who tend to have a niche audience. They can sometimes go years without an appearance and tend to be supporting characters when they do appear. These characters have moderate fan-bases but no wide-spread interest.
C-list and below
These characters are pretty much cannon fodder. If a writer wants to kill off someone without upsetting fans, this is where he looks. People who like these characters tend to do so more for the "underdog" appeal than anything else. They don't show up in adaptations except for split-second cameos.
