Call me crazy, but I honestly believe that one day in the future there will be a real vigilante fighting crime. In big cities where the crime rates are extremely high like Chicago, Detroit, New York, I could see a average joe taking a stand. Someone who is physically fit, smart, wealthy, or highly trainer fighter taking action. Or a former cop or military vet. It could also be someone who had loved ones taken away by crime in said cities. I know I thought about at one point for reasons I will keep to myself ( for now lol). I work part time at a university and seen some students make some amazing tech. There are little mini robots built by students where I work.

If some of these students applied those smarts to gadgets who knows what could happen.But in reality, it's probably not a good idea. Most people would be arrested since vigilante's are illgeal, or you would get seriously hurt or most likely killed. But I am 27, and like o said, I believe that I might see a real vigilante in my lifetime. If there where a successful vilgilante, then escalation would be a concern also. Lol I know I will probably get laughed at for this post, but it's my honest opinion.

Technically anyone can put on a suit and go out to fight crime. If they get lucky, they might save a person or two.

However, the idea that anyone can be as efficient at doing it as the superheroes we see in comics is false. Even characters like Batman and Green Arrow are still larger than life at the end of the day. They can't really exist, at least not to the same extent as even Nolan's Batman.
