GREAT choice. I'd be behind this 100%. I remember when they were showing the Thank You For Smoking previews on T.V. that I thought he looked like the Dent type.

You know as a choice for Dent he seems most similar to Bale as Batman. Both proven, good actors but not "names" at all, both very good looking, masculine leading man types, yet they're still "actor's actors". Anyone else see what I'm saying here?

I hope its true, like I said my boy Marky Mark in my mind is the best choice, but it's like Eckhart or Marky Mark, its like picking an Evil Dead movie to watch, you can't go wrong it's a ****ing Evild Dead movie

Not seen it but i'll try and see if i can rent it.

Intersting - Eckhart was for a long time rumored as a candidate to play Batman or Gordon in Darren Aronofsky's Year One movie.

Aaron is a great guy. Liked him ever since "In the company of men" and he was great and fun in "Thank you for smoking". Just to clarify a thing, he wasn't considered for the role of Batman, but for Gordon back in the Aronofsky period.
Too bad that if he get cast as Dent, they won't make a Green Arrow movie with him.

Is there some reason why Nolan is casting really good looking men for all these prominent roles? Cillian Murphy for scarecrow? Heath Ledger for joker??? Aaron Eckhart for Harvey Dent? I mean it's all very homoerotic. I'm shocked Brad Pitt wasn't picked for Gordon.
