Eckhardt would be a superlative choice but I kind of wanted him to play Hank Pym/Antman. Oh well...he's an outstanding choice and he has that look and swagger Dent needs.

Here's hoping he or someone like: Clive Owen, Liev Schrieber, Joaquin Phoenix, John Cusack, Mark Whalberg, Leo Dicaprio, or Edward Norton will get picked as well.

I have never heard of this guy, never seen him before in my life, don't know a damn thing about him.

With that said, that is one hell of a chin.

Also, he appears to be a male human, so, he meets the only criteria that I have for Harvey, as I said so long ago. No complaints here.

But... I thought they were aiming high???

Oh well, who cares. This guy's as good as anyone. Assuming he can act. Not saying he can't, just saying, I have never seen ANY of his work...

I first saw him a few years ago in a couple of great indie movies: In the Company of Men, and Your Friends and Neighbors (with Ben Stiller and Jason Patric). He really is an awesome actor, and I think he'd make for a great Harvey Dent.

I prefer Eckhart over Norton and Foxx anyday. Norton and Foxx are good actors, but don't fit Dent. Eckhart on the other hand, is one of the best rumored choices so far.

That's a cool choice for Two-Face.

I'm still baffaled by this Rachel Dawes character. I'm guessing she has a bigger role than we're being led to believe if they're going after the likes a McAdams, and Maggie G.

This is shaping up to be one all star cast if you think about it! Bale, Ledger, Eckhart, Cain, Freeman, Oldman, McAdams/Maggie G. Damn. Go Nolan.

Yes!!! This would be perfect casting! Eckhart rules. He was awesome in "Thank You for Smoking" and "Nurse Betty." Hell, he even made "Paycheck" somewhat watchable. He would be ideal for Dent.

Then you probably weren't around when Bale was cast. And from what I remember, there was incredible positivity around these boards when Liam Neeson was picked for Ra's and Oldman for Gordon as well. The BB franchise has singlehandedly the highest number of the "most harmonious casting" threads on the Hype.
