That second trailer still does this show no favors. It still looks like amateur hour across the board, only... IN IMAX!! For real, some things just look so cheap, from the Triton make up to the CGI for Gorgon's power moves, to the sets still looking cheap or Medusa's CG hair... Cheap is all that comes to mind.

And the idea that this could "start like AOS" did? I hung in there with AoS for 2 seasons, hoping it would get better but it really never did. It started out **** and it's still ****. "But it's so much better now..." Life is too short to wait literally seasons to wait for a show to get passably decent.

I don't know anything about the Inhumans, and being a comic nerd, I haven't seen anything at all to get me interested with the exception of a solid cast. What do you think that says for the general audience? That's not a good sign, at all.

Looks better. Might have elevated to watchable guilty pleasure. I'm REALLY rooting for the show, but I'm not going to fool myself it's complete garbage.

God awful special effects, especially Medusa's hair. That last line, got me intrigued though. Still, this **** looks cheap as F.

Agree. Medusa's hair looks bad. And I think Serinda Swan was probably not the best person for the role. When she speaks, she sounds rather CW-ish and not regal at all. I think they needed someone with more gravitas and not someone who sounds like they would be in a typical angsty teen drama.

Triton also doesn't look good. He looks less fish-like than the Klingons in the new Star Trek Discovery series.

I think this trailer somehow made the show look worse. Medusa's hair is ridiculous of course, but good God, the Attalan sets looks SOOOOO cheap. It's like something you'd see on MST3K. And the acting... WTF? That green guy and the girl sound like they're reading off cue cards. Most people know next to nothing about the Inhumans (myself included) and Marvel seems to want to keep it that way. This piece of crap should have never seen the light of day.

That's what's killing me the most. The bad CGI and make up I expected due to the short time frame, but they couldn't get a decent cinematographer?

I was hoping to get the same level of richness as American Gods. Especially after all the hoopla about IMAX.

I have absolutely no reason to go and see this in an IMAX screen.

One of these scenes (which Loeb referred to as "The Dinner Sequence") saw the royal family discussing the spread of Terrigen in Earth's water supply, directly acknowledging the events of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s second season.

Called it.

Second trailer was just okay imo, but the acting/dialogue still feels so forced. And the IMAX visuals don't look like the spectacle they promised

Same here. The first trailer had such brief dialogue, it masked the stilted acting, but it was on full display in this one.

It looks like they had some community college students do the hair scenes.

After the first trailer, I thought it looked good for a TV show, now I'm not even sure if it looks good for a TV show.

I'll still watch it and hope for the best, but this trailer makes me less interested than I was before.

After this gets cancelled 15 minutes into the premiere, Marvel should hand Scott Buck his walking papers and permanently oust Ike Perlmutter's dumb, racist, sexist ass so he can live out the rest of his days kissing Trump's ring at Mar-a-Lago. Which is probably what he really wants to be doing anyway.

In a weird way, I'm actually glad that the majority of casuals are enjoying it.
It means we could still get a chance to fix all there mistakes in the 2nd season.

BUT it also means that Scott Buck will feel vindicated and continue to think what he's doing actually works and won't change a damn thing.

My gut is hoping it just bombs and they either integrate the characters into the movies or take break and revisit a high budget show with a different show runner later on down the line.

Why is everything about how the 2nd season will be better and will fix all the mistakes/ develop the story more? I want to see things done correctly in the first season or first movie, not sequel.

Scott Buck should never work for Marvel again. Instead he's probably taking over Perlmutter's job.
