You mean this? :oldrazz:

and didn't see CC post? you never be a mod :oldrazz::oldrazz:

this is...is actually a really good idea. I've been around the boards for years, but don't post much because I'm either afraid to sound idiotic or piss off somebody who has thousands of posts, spurning the hatred of others with thousands of posts.

If there were someone here in my earlier days to kinda help me to know who's who and what's what, posting would be less scary.

Exactly, for me, not that I was afraid of posting but because I hate getting into meaningless debates that end with insults. Believe it or not, some of the MODs in here (won't say who publicly) are just as childish as the people they ban. I got called a 'troll' because I didn't agree with someone's purist views.

The biggest problem here is all of our views of who's who and what's what is opinionated. The people that think they are the popular ones here might be seen as just immature bullies by others. I think you have to make your own way into the forums but I also think it wouldn't be so bad to adopt a newbie to help him at the beginning or just befriend him so he feels welcomed.

Don't be afraid of large posts counts. Remember, it's not the size of the post count that matters, but how you use them. :o:oldrazz:

You're not very subtle.

I kinda hate it to be honest. It's not that I like confrontation, but I want everything to get out on the open, and squash it or finish it. I don't like leaving unfinished business. Maybe it's because of my profession...

At this point, if he's anything but a male prostitute it's just a let down. :o

I'd love to be adopted, but with my luck I'd get The Stepfather instead of a sugardaddy. "Go and fetch ma belt...." :shock

I would like to adopt a newby, unless i'm considered a newbie myself

you've not even been here a year yet

So so many years later after I started this program we're still trying to Adopt Noobs?

you've not even been here a year yet

Where does the newbie/veteran line lie at? Is it a number of years or a number of posts?

I always giggle at those who have been here a year or two and blast newbies.

I'd say at least a year. I've been here 2 and a half years and I know how everything works around here and participated in a multitude of things.

I asked to adopt a newby because the guy that started this thread wasn't even here for 1 year before he created the thread, i allways considered myself a noob, please, does anybody want to adopt me? :D

Where some veteran take you under their wing, tries to show you the ropes. The do's and don'ts, the places to hang out the people to avoid, and how not to be just another internet *****e bag.

i'd say time over posts. there are some who have only been here a few months and already have thousands of posts

Can I adopt myself since I'm both a Hype! Veteran and a Newbie?
