Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Adrianne Palicki IS Mockingbird

the thing about Hawkeye is, Renner's pretty busy atm. I mean right now he's filming MI:V 30 minutes away from my flat and I'm sure he will for the next couple of weeks. since AoS is filming right now and I guess the Mockingbird episode is one of the first to shoot, the only way I'd see Hawkingbird together is at the second half of the season, closer to the release of AoU

I wouldn't want Hawkeye to show up so early anyway. We need a stand alone Mockingbird episode first. If Hawkeye ever does show up in AOS, it should only be once Palicki has established Mockingbird in her own right and she has guest starred in a few episodes already. She can't be trading on Renner's reputation or celebrity status in her first or even second appearance.

I like this look the most.

I hope we get something like that! Not sure whether it would look better with the glasses or not

Neither BW or Hawkeye wear any kind of headgear in the films. So I wouldn't be at all surprised if she doesn't have any either (be it a mask, goggles, or otherwise).

Hawkeye is moving closer to his comics version, though (although still no mask). I don't think Black Widow ever wore a mask.

I think as long as there is a purpose for the goggles, there's no reason to exclude them. She puts them when she's using them, takes them off when she's not.

I personally would be fine with the goggles (in fact I rather like them). I was just pointing out that it wouldn't be surprising if Marvel ultimately doesn't go with them, or any headgear for that matter. They've done it before.

True, good point.

she wore a mask for one or two issues at the beginning of her carreer but haven't wore one in 50 years in the comics.

Posting again here:

Mockingbird... Probably undercover?

EDIT: "Courtesy of ABC, here’s your first look at Palicki as Bobbi Morse, the [BLACKOUT]head of Hydra Security[/BLACKOUT] and the future Mockingbird."

I'm guessing she's undercover. It'd be good to see SHIELD get one over on Hydra from an espionage perspective.

Well, comics Mockingbird has a history of being undercover, so it's not unprecedented for her MCU counterpart to be the same.

I sure hope she's undercover, because this really threw me for a loop.

She better be undercover, because if that is her look as Mockingbird/ Bobbi Morse in the show, it's terrible, especially when Palicki is actually blonde. I'd even take this costume over that:

If that is her costume, then that is as bad as Laser Tag Deathlok.

People should really look at everything before jumping to conclusions

Episode of the title "Hen in the Wolf House".

HEN.

As for the hair 3 days ago she posted this pic

According to her and producers this episode isn't her only appearance.

So she is back to blonde which you could think that in future episodes she will be blonde.

Her hair being that color could be a nod to her first comic appearance

Yeah she really needs to be blonde. But I'll reserve judgement for now.

hair colour aside (lets wait for her full arc), I cant wait to see her in action, to see her true potential as a badass agent

The pic makes her look like an Ensign aboard the Enterprise, hopefully she is undercover.

Mockingbird and Simmons are up to something. I love the intrigue because we all know they both are NOT Hydra.

^ Even more so when we all know (based on speculation) that Coulson has been planning behind the shadows with Simmons and Morse to get the one up on Hydra for once.

That pic of her with the red outfit doesn't look good.

And she will look so much better with a blonde hair (just like what is seen at the picture above).

Thinking about the show and the character, as well as Palicki's comments that Mockingbird could certainly jump to The Avengers based on her discussions with Marvel (which I'm sure she wants), so I ask this: Are there enough differences between BW and Bobbi to justify them at the same place at the same time? What would Bobbi bring to the table that Natasha wouldn't?

Expanding on that, I think this introduction to her already in Hydra, covert or not, is really close to the traditional Jessica Drew arc. If Skye is Drew (and I don't think she is) then it makes it sense. If they are going to use Drew later on, her origin is going to be a little too close to this arc.

Finally, I've always liked Bobbi and it's clear that Skye is going to have some kind of power, but the other Wanda the females in the MCU have no power set. I'm hoping Danvers, Drew, Walters, Jones(although who knows) and some others are in the pipeline because Hill,May,Sharon Carter, Bobbi and Natasha kind of overlap.

So I'm taking it that she has been brainwashed with the machine. Makes sense, your head of security being loyal beyond doubt.

So how is Simmons going to undo it?
