Which do you guys think is better?

I think we can all agree that the train sequence in Sm2 was the best action scene in the movie, from the top of the tower to the end of the tracks. How would you compare it to the peter vs. GG2 in Sm3?

For now, I'd say they're about the same. The thing that always gets me in the train scene is when spidey is knocked off, lands on the street, jumps back up, starts swinging and running on the building, then catching those 2 passengers and webbing them, it gets me each time.

I've always wanted to see Spider-Man fight out of costume, and I've finally gotten that, and I couldnt be more happy about it. The aerial sequence would've topped the train for me if it was more than harry viciously attacking peter, if it was straight up Spider-Man, prepared in costume vs. Green Goblin, kinda like how the ock vs. spidey fight was.

but that's saying something though, the first fight scene in sm3 almost topples the biggest scene in Sm2. I'm pretty damn sure Sony isn't dumb enough to release the best fight scene in Sm3 for the public to see. I'm thinking all the other fight scenes in Sm3 will be better than this, except for the short beatdown peter gives harry at his mansion. And I remember Arad saying the subway scene with sandman would be way better than the train scene.

They are both awesome in their own way.

I mean the Train Sequence had classic Ock vs Spidey fighting going on.

But the GG2 vs Peter fight dang, that was vicerial, intense, and just mind blowing to me. I always wanted to see a good Spidey aerial fight.

Both are excellent, but my own opinion is going more towards the GG2 fight.

LOVED the train sequence, but I think this Harry fight was a tad bit more impressive.

i actually resisted watching the full 6 minute clip of the harry/peter fight, so i cant say, but i find it VERY impressive that everyone here seems to think that the first fight we will see in SM3 will contend with the biggest fight of SM2

Close call. Assuming that some of the cg in the aerial fight between Peter and Harry will be tweaked a bit by final release, I'd say that they're around on par. However, the Peter vs. Goblin fight was (imo) more tense than the train sequence since Peter was basically running for his life instead of just playing hero.

Id say the aerial sequence is from a cinematic stand point, better, however the train fight may be more memorable.

I'm going to have to say a tie, they were both great in their own right. However, with the SM2 extra scenes I'd say the Train Scene.

Oh, and thanks for adding the poll. ;)

All of these fights will outdo the previous just like SM2 did.

I just think there were more WOW shots in this badboy, and we got a classic little Spidey quip thrown in there as well (and Tobey's delivery of it was fantastic).

Yea I loved that line with Tobey. I was unsure at first when I read the text that he says :"Hate those things." Sounded corny but some how he pulled it off so well, I just laughed, very well done.

I don't understand that statement. It's been three years, you've probably seen that scene now a dozen times, saw it on the big screen, and saw it within the context of the movie. Of course it's more 'memorable' at this point.

I'm torn between the two. The one thing I don't like about the fight with Harry is the end of it, it seemed downright comical. Especially the close-up of Harry's ridiculous "Oh no" face. Just my opinion.

Funny, I did not laugh at that part, I cringed. It looked more like "that hurt" then hahahah.

Do you even have to ask ? :whatever: :woot:

Without question the Aerial Fight Sequence Peter vs. Harry Owned , the Train Sequence spidey vs. Doc Ock .

But to be honest I've enjoy all the fight scenes in the SPIDER-MAN flims .

I loved seeing Green Goblin beat the **** out of Spidey in the finale battle in movie one.

And I loved all of the fight scenes between Doc Ock & Spidey (From The Bank, to the Wall battle, to the Train and finally the finale battle at the pire)

IMO The Spidey films have the best superhero vs. Super villian battles ever seen in live action . No other superhero film has even come close IMO .

The areial fight sequence in spidey3 is a bit better than the train sequence in spidey2 but they both really are amazing fight sequences. I mean the areial fight sequence was a little more intense, etc.

I loved the train fight, but when it comes to the most impressive, my props go to the aerial fight.

Hey...did anyone save the 7 1/2 minute preview for quicktime? Couldn't you e-mail it?

I love the train sequence, but I believe the aerial fight is a bit more impressive.

Tie maybe...

I really love the Angry Friend With Weapons and Peter fight scene, and I also love the train with Doc Ock.

The aerial fight from sm3 was better. And if u don`t think so, then I don`t know why your gonna go see sm3. End of this discussion for me.

One of the stupidest remarks I've ever read.

As to the topic of the thread, I say a tie. Both magnificent pieces of superhero dueling.
