hope for a "Netflix cure" technically. I'm really tired of "the TV show look"
If anyone seen the pilot of "the man in the higher castle" can understand how I dream "Agent Carter"
But what they can't measure (and what ultimately matters) is whether a show impacts their subscription numbers.

The street where Peggy and Jarvis often chat, where Peggy often comes out of that diner, looks like the standard Universal backlot street we see in every other show, just redressed.
Agree with this and I love it. It adds to the 'film noir' feel of the show and (for me) I think it works. Also - part of the charm of the series (imo) is that its reminiscent of old Hollywood movies (mostly shot on backlots) rather than documentary realism.
I suppose they could add a very short one or two question survey when people sign up and ask them what prompted them to get Netflix.

Well the DD teaser surely looks more cinematic than AC or AoS(as well as Gotham, Flash, Arrow, Constantine) in the use of camera angles and techniques you just don't see on network TV hardly ever. And I am usually rather tone deaf to this sort of thing and even I could tell the difference.
I just hate the way AOS and Agent Carter look so over lit like every ABC show. Makes it look cheap when it might not be. (AOS pilot cost 12 million, but it doesn't look as good as the Game of Thrones pilot which cost the same or less. Over lit so much it looks like no production value.)
A flub from The Hollywood Reporter's writer or the truth? About one of the female roles in the show, won't say more until you look under the tag to keep it vague.
It follows Peggy as she builds her career as a secret agent while the hero is frozen in ice. James D'Arcy portrays Edwin Jarvis, while Enver Gjokaj is Agent Daniel Sousa, Chad Michael Murray is Agent Jack Thompson and Lyndsy Fonseca plays spy Angie Martinelli. Dominic Cooper reprises his role as Howard Stark, debuting the upcoming fourth episode. Longtime writing partners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters (ABC's Resurrection) serve as showrunners.

IGN: Do you think Angie just couldn’t even fathom what Peggy’s secret life is at this point?
Fonseca: I think Peggy’s world is so out of Angie’s radar or atmosphere of reality that I don’t even think she thinks.... She thinks something [is going on] but nothing that it could possibly be. Angie’s smarter than she may come across and so she knows there’s more to Peggy, which is why I think she’s interested in her. I think there’s something that Hayley, as an actress, and Peggy Carter has - a quality that Angie is drawn to, which is why she wants to be her friend. But there’s no way that she would be like, ”Oh, you must be a secret agent spy working for Iron Man’s father.”
IGN: [Laughs] It would be amazing if she said exactly that!
Fonseca: Could you imagine? Like she’s actually a fortune teller! [Laughs]
IGN: It comes up frequently that people, because of Nikita, do wonder, “Is she going to fight at some point?”
Fonseca: Part of me is actually a little bit nervous because my Nikita fanbase is really supportive and it’s still airing all over the world, so part of me is a little bit worried that they’re going to be waiting for that to happen and they’re going to be let down, almost. But this is a different show. This is a different universe. Angie is a different person and you’re going to have to eventually start seeing me doing different things. Nikita was a long run and I loved it but Angie is so different. I want my Nikita lovers and fans to want to watch this because they’re going to love it, and they do. But I want them to understand that Angie is not Alexandra Udinov. This is a different character and Angie does not know how to fight spies. She’s a waitress at an automat. And it’s fun. It’s a challenge and it’s different. I didn't want to come off Nikita and play another spy that kicks ass. I get to play Angie, who doesn’t have any idea what that is and it’s awesome.
Another great episode! !!
Imo, not as good as the last one but a good episode, all the same. The episode had too much filler like the normal conversation between the agent and the shrink before hypnosis or the search for the russian spy among stark ex-lovers. Didn't add anything to the story.
And, I think that in terms of plot it was not as consistent as previous installments. Especially the final part, where we think that SSR agents are gone and then they suddendly appear to save peggy form that BW character.
It had a few kinks. But, I liked a lot the duplicity and powers of that shrink character. Also, it needs to capitalize more on that BW character. All in all, we need to see more villainous character moments.
Marvel - the MCU - still doesn't understand that it can't create a world of superheroes without creating a world of supervillains. And that they both deserve the same attention.
I think they understand it. I've liked many, many of the villains they've produced in the MCU. Dottie and the russian Dr. seem to be coming along fine, IMO.

A follow-up of sorts on front with some push-back from the actress:
So did anyone else see creepy Russian guy doing his mind-control thing and think "Doctor Faustus?"
