It's hilarious that I just got back from seeing Kingsman and now we've got yet another "device that drives people homicidally insane" plot the same night.

Ah...well...as usual...no matter how tidy of a row I get my ducks in...my entire house erupts in noise and chaos at 9PM EST on Tuesdays...so I didn't see him reading at all.

If they haven't given him the name, then it seems like a bit of a cheat of "it's Faustus, unless we decide to actually use him elsewhere, and then it's just some very similar guy."

Also...last I saw Dottie was parkouring down the stairs...I guess she got away??

Two agents get the drop on her and pull their gun and neither one of them shoots.

Now we know partially why Black Widows are so successful, not only does no one suspect a girl (not even Peggy) but they have a hard time shooting (or throwing a a grenade at) them like they probably would a guy.

Just the book. They call him Ivchenko but I wouldn't be surprised for the to reveal it tomorrow. The way they framed his powers was kind of cool. I thought it was corny how he could just control minds through his ring but showing what was actually happening made it more believable.

Everything with Dooley tonight was spot on. Everyone was in a precarious situation but Dooley made the most sense for what happened. I felt like something big was going to happen, I wasn't disappointed.

Give me the Peggy/Dottie fight and this season is perfect!

Dooley went out like a boss! Another good episode, I loved the various interrogations with Peggy as you could see the various affect she has had on each man across the season, and I liked how she ripped on how each of them initially saw her and why that made it so easy for her to conduct her investigation without anyone noticing.

All of the oldschool spy stuff with the shrink and barely recognizable Bridget Reagan as Dottie the psycho assassin is awesome, the finale looks great, this better get a season 2!

I think they could easily have had stuck his name in if they had wanted to:

"You're late"
"We've been compromised, Dr. Faustus."

Obviously, they didn't do that. There's still room next week, though. However, in spite of all the hints, I do think we should assume that, if they don't reveal it then, he isn't Dr. Faustus. It would make no sense to sit on that.

I would say that he is Doctor Faustus, even if he is not adressed as such. The MCU has a habbit of not rarely calling superheroes/villans by their codename/alias, and their real name are more common. Ivchenko was the name he was adressed by the SSR, but he was called Dr Fenhoff by the russian surgeon, suggesting it may be his real name.

Now, even if he is not adressed as Dr Faustus in the next episode, I would still say he is the MCU's Dr Faustus.

God yes. If there is no season 2, there is no justice. This is some of the best material the MCU has given the world.

Yes he's a Captain America villain.

I think that book title naming Dr Faustus is as close as we're going to get to him being called that.
Marvel doesn't always do the Arrow/Flash gimmick of calling ppl by the codename, as if it's normal. They're more subtle about it.

Yep, in the beginning of the episode he is called "Dr. Fenhoff" twice (it then shows the book title). He's Dr Faustus.

I guess he changed his name for some reason after the war. TV Marvel loves to have their characters with fake names to create mystery.

No it isn't. The character's real name in the books is Johann Fennhoff.

Writers and cast are at least willing for a season 2.... so it's down to ABC making a decision (I wouldn't be too surprised, though, if we don't hear anything until the upfronts which ABC typically does in May)
