Alan Wake.

Alan Wake needs more backwards talking midgets.

Fire Walk with Me ties up some of the loose ends, not all but some, even with it being a prequel.

Too bad that we'll never see the other two that were plan. I want to know what was up with Bowie's character Gawd damnit!

Yeah it sucks. Despite that, it doesn't change the fact that Twin Peaks remains one of my favorite series ever. And that reminds me, when will Lynch do a new movie?

Somewhat ironically it was another video game, Deadly Premonition, that brought me to Twin Peaks.

Anyway, Alan Wake sounds cool. I may pick it up soon, though I'll probably wait and see what this new thing is.

You saw the references that Alan Wake have to Twin Peaks that I wrote on the previous page? If you ever do play the game, keep those things in mind, but granted it's not that hard to spot either so it'll be easy for you since you're watching Twin Peaks. :)

He's too busy making coffee and awesome music.

I don't listen to the music that Lynch does but I did listen to the singles he released last year. It was pretty kewl.

I think that's all he's done. You hear David Lynch is making electronic music and you think, "Oh, god. I've got to hear this." But I was pleasantly surprised. Sort of reminds me of Crystal Castles.

I hope this series doesn't go multiplatform. The 360 needs as many exclusives as it can get. MS should buy Remedy before they lose Alan Wake like they did with ME. They should also buy the rights to Gears.

It's quite experimental but it's good nonetheless and it's nice to see him experiment more on his musician side, "I Know" felt very blues, which was what he was aiming for. Still though, I'm dying for a new movie by him.

I hope it does. The fewer exclusives, the better.

I definitely want a new Lynch movie as well. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing one when it was "new".

It was originally suppose to come out in PC anyway but it didn't worked out right before it was coming out. I never like exculsives anyway so if it turned multi-platform I wouldn't mind as long as more people get to play this rather, fantastic game.

I hope all the sequel rumors are true, Alan Wake was easily one of the best games last year and its shame that they released the day of Red Dead. No game stood a chance within a 2 week period of that.

Believe it or not, i wouldn´t mind that there is no more exclusives, and that would be actually good for business.
Imagine Halo multiplatform, it would kick CoD butt
Imagine Uncharted going everywhere, it would be gigantic
Imagine Super Mario on all platforms under the sun.......it would make Nintendo the King of the World
So, what´s the problem...

Well, of the 3 hardware manufactures, two would be fu**ed.
People would buy one console, the one with the best service, and the other two would be the new Sega.

Bottom line, exclusives need to stay as long as there are more than one console manufacture.
Third Party, that i agree that should not make exclusives, but that is why First Party are important....which the thing Microsoft really lacks.

Microsoft should buy Remedy, that´s a fact.
They should have bought Epic by now as well...

Haha well they bought skype...

Doesn't EA own Epic? Or are the two just in a deal together? Because Bulletstorm was produced by EA.

If Epic isn't owned by anyone, MS should snatch them up too. Not buying Bioware & letting Bungie go is MS's biggest mistakes in the world of gaming besides the infamous hardware problems the 360 has.

Epic is still a private company and I believe that EA was just the publisher for Bulletstorm.

Not really, MS doesnt need Bungie, they own the Halo IP, so they own the important variable in that equation.

EA doesn´t own Epic, it´s was all part of the EA Partners, EA´s arm dedicated to publishing and distributing games developed by third-party developers.
The same deal happend with Crytek (Crysis) and Valve (Orange Box and Left 4 Dead), and they just signed with 38 Studios to publish the upcoming Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning from Big Huge Games; and The Secret World from Funcom.

And you can't just buy a company, anyway. It's not like I can walk into Walmart tomorrow and go "Okay, boys...I'm buying the company!" even if I was a bazillionaire.

I played the game up until the rock stage area, then I read up on the game online because I loved it and found out about the lackluster ending. I stopped playing, I feel like I wasted my time playing something for so long that has no real closure or payoff. I hope L.A. Noire doesn't end like that (reason why i say that is because Red Dead had a downer ending as well).

So you were loving the game but stopped because of something you read on the net???

Why?? ... The ending HAS payoff ... [BLACKOUT]Alan is successful in his main quest.[/BLACKOUT]
