If it were a man who was fighting for a more substantive role and less fluff he would be applauded but for a woman to ask for the same treatment she is labelled and made into a punchline.

If it was any of the other three saying this crap, I'd have the exact same reaction. It's a team movie. Don't screw up the "team" concept like you did with the X-Men, I mean Wolverine, movie series. That was the biggest failure of that franchise by a mile, and I'm scared to death that it'll happen here too.

And I'm still surprised no one's speculating about how one of the Four will apparently become a villian. How so? Will Reed be so jealous that he'll become a dick and try to kill the Surfer? Will the Surfer turn on his master, resulting in Galactus forcing Johnny to be his new herald? What up?

I think is kinda both. But Jessica really likes this character and i think she only justs wants to see the best for her. Cause when on TRL last year. She said the things that excited her about Sue was having babies and being married.

And the stuff on Halle isn't pulled out of someone's ass.....Exile's comments are a alot more plausible than what has been said so far from some.....the comments are not to say that theres a problem with people who are worried about the team aspect....it was a comment about people saying that Jessica had anything to do with this....."scared to death"...chill.....drink some wine...

There is another villain,maybe that could be phsyco man,or they could use a blast from the SS's cosmic powers to unleash Malice,maybe that will explain how Sue could fall for him if she is Malice

I agree. It's not Jessica. She absolutly loves the roll. She loves being Sue Storm. And I'm glad they have an actress who realy wants to get into, and expand her charactor.

No, it's not. Halle openly stated after X2 that she would refuse to do a third film unless her role was much larger. And lo, her role is much larger in the third film.

Umm, I think Halle stated that she wanted her character to have more to do, not so much more screen time. She was fighting for Storm to be seen in the movies, not the watered down version in X1 and X2. But since this is about the fabulous FF, I think Alba is just excited about the role and maybe they will bring Malice in. That would be alright with me.

You're right there is no quote and their won't be from Jessica in regards to wanting anything from this movie except to do a good job, and show who Sue is....if the writers write something different that is their call, not hers....

As far as reading "hopefully she's not" maybe you said that before, but don't remember seeing that anywhere....

This has nothing to do with fanship of an actor or character, I am a huge fan of the relationships and teamwork of this family....have 2 threads about it in fact...one on this forum, and one on the first movie forum....it has to do with people taking a few lines from an actress that has shown herself to love this character and is very excited about Sue....and added an assload of drama to it.....THATS what its about....nothing else....

and to restate my thoughts on the information...
*not happy to hear of another triangle.....(ask Hunter, just how "not happy" I am....lol)
*excited about the possible "malice" type story line....
*cautiously apprehensive on whether or not these few statements lead to an unbalance of characters as we had in the first movie....

Well maybe i mis worded it but yeah Mike really likes the Character of the thing. i know all about the he used to buy the comics as a kid and wanted to be him if a FF movie was ever made.
