All Star Batman comes out in 12 days. What are your thoughts?

I love the Ultimate Marvel and ALL STARs sounds even better....Plus Miller and Lee rock....The only problem so far: Robin's costume.

What all do we know about it? Other than being excited about it,I've seen a few of the schetches in Wizard a while back and know that Dick Grayson is the one and only Robin in it but what else?

It looks lame, but I'll give it a try. I don't have much hope for Miller. Lee should kick ass as usual, though.

I'm hoping this will be Miller doing some good work again (i.e. not his DKSA "look at me! I can destroy everything that made DKR good!" mode) and Jim Lee is... well, it's Jim Lee. I adore the guy's art. He may not be the greatest artist alive, but he sure as hell rules when it comes to that "Image" style of pencilling.

I'm looking forward to it. :)

Oh yeah, can't wait to check this out.

Who are the top 10 villians that you are looking forward or hoping to seeing in it?

Today's list...

The Joker
Two Face
The Riddler
The Scarecrow
Catwoman
Mr. Freeze
Clayface
Poison Ivy
The Penguin
Hugo Strange

I'm getting this but is it going to be a mini-series?

I believe it's intended as an on going series. DC's answer to Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man.

Batman really doesn't need another ongoing series.

If there are good stories to tell, why not??

Im pysched for this like non-other because i like adding issue #1's to my collection. Also its JIm Lee on Batman again also there is Dick Grayson as Robin something I've waited to return for a while.

I am really looking forwad to this, as soon as the team behind it was announced I was pumped. I mean it's Jim Lee and Frank MIller, I can't wait.

I'll have to wait until the TPB comes out:( hope some of you guys are gonna post some artwork:D

I believe either Miller or Lee said that it's the third year of Batman's carreer set in Robin's perspective.

Some Info on the Book:

*Robin will be the main focus of the first arc. It's Year Two.

*The designs are based on the 40's era of Batman comics. Miller and Lee have said they're basing their designs on Dick Sprangs work.

*Vicki Vale's the main love interest in the story

*Wonder Woman and Black Canary are confirmed to appear. Green Arrow and The Question may or may not make an appearance. In the last issue of Wizard, Lee's sketches also included Hal Jordan and Zatanna. All of the guest stars will have their classic look.

*Robin will be about 12-14 years old at the beginning of the story.

*At first, Batman and Robin will have their classic costumes. It's not confirmed, but expect to see Batman wearing his Yellow Oval and Robin sporting a new look.

He needs one where he's not bogged down by crappy continuty, annoying sidekicks, and bad writers.

Finally, a Bat title with the ONLY two Bat-family members that matter: Bruce Wayne as Batman and Dick Grayson as Robin. Classic Continuity. And the creative team is Frank Miller and Jim Lee.
