The Avengers boards are about to get littered with angry thor fans annoyed that he got shafted again in the film and he doesn't save the day with a flick of the wrist this time, or gloating cap fans because he budged the hammer, or angry thor fans again that someone might have lifted the hammer, happy thor fans if no one lifts the hammer, gloating hulk fans because once again he steals the show, disappointed hawkeye fans because he gets put in the background again...I kinda look forward to that, it's the beauty of team up films.

I look forward to debating on how Batman "won or didn't win" in the film.

Batman always wins in my book. Even when he's supposedly dead and sent back through time and space.

I don't envy them creating a scenario where Superman and Batman fight and the fans are satisfied with how both characters come off.
It may be impossible. Maybe just unlikely.


I could see Bruce getting caught up in Lex's words and having to be snapped back into reality.
They could offer up a situation where Batman is mentally being misled, as it's his great advantage and Superman physically being hurt...or maybe emotionally.
Either way it requires both of them to have to work together for their own sakes as a build up to a team of superheroes with varying skills.

If these two can work together, utilizing their strengths and overcoming their weaknesses, then there's hope for a Justice League.

Supes will have been weakened by Kryptonite if DKR's influence is present in the mechanics of this fight.

Kryptonite in the MoS universe will probably be pieces of the Kryptonian ships or WE that have been altered somehow in order to have an exaggerated version of the effect that the Kryptonian atmosphere has on Supes.

I think he holds back.
Even if Batman flies a distance, it's not easy to hold back when you're Superman.

If it's prep time, I vote for weakened. Batman wouldn't go into battle merely hoping his opponent holds back. He'd make sure of things.

He didn't seem weakened to me and I feel he is holding back to some degree. He could have flown or supersped at him but he just ran normal. I also wonder if the suit Batman is wearing could possibly be made from Zods outfit or pieces of the ship that crashed. I would like Batman to fight Superman without using Kryptonite

When the camera first on Superman, in the last frame you can see that he's not just running normally. There's a blur indicating a superhuman speed.

And in his way he seems to go through a barrier like it's nothing.

I think the poor quality of the leaked footage and the lack of sound doesn't convey the sense of speed as the real thing.

But if you look enough, you'll see it.

Also, if he holds back he would do that in the beginning of the fight, and I think this is in the middle. Superman wouldn't charge like that without getting really upset. Look at that face!
