:wow:.

This one?

Wayne+Enterprises+Logo.gif
Identical.

Having seen it a little while ago, the reviews were completely out of whack with what I saw as a fan of the superhero genre. This is easily on par with the first Iron Man and better than The Avengers. I am sooooo relieved. It's truly the Superman film I've been waiting for. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Ok this isn't a diss at SR at all. I saw it once in the theater. I am about to see MoS for the second time in less than 4 hours. take that for what you will.

I was blown away! I am going to see it again tomorrow!!!!

Why/how are so many people seeing this film already, I've heard of early screenings but people seem to be seeing it at will and repeatedly. Not fair.

Almost the exact same audience critic disconnect happened with TF one. Funny enough they have about the same score and will probably end up with the same box office when adjusted(bet on it). Some people hated it on purism, some people hated it on principles, many liked it on the basis of cinema and how fresh it was to the then redundant landscape. I'm bloody eager to see what the opening numbers are, as excited as I am to see the film.

Seems like this film could have been improved in lots of ways, but I'm suspecting that it's flaws don't merit a rotten score. It's probably just as flawed as most any other entertaining cbm. Yet here we are. Doesn't seem right.

Wal-Mart screenings haha. And I agree that there is room for improvement and the "flaws" it has, while some maybe justifiable, others are kind of small enough that they don't really warrant a really negative rating. But hey, it's their prerogative...

I agree. That's why I was so shocked to see some of those negative reviews. After I saw it I did not expect it. But after viewing two I reaffirmed my view on it and I'm glad it stayed the same. I love the movie. I have another session seeing it Saturday with my gf and now Sunday at the IMAX in Austin with my dad hahah. 4 times is ridiculous but I only paid for one of them.

Damn was it the same logo? I saw it but it's like upside down so it was always hard for me to remember it.

I really don't get the "too much action" criticism. The whole middle 3rd of the scene doesn't have any action. And the Krypton action isn't much. By the end of the 3rd act, though, I was exhausted, but that's what you're supposed to feel if you're buying into the movie. If it doesn't drain you, it's because it's too cartoonish and unrealistic.

Dude, your reaction was one of the most anticipated for me! Glad you loved it! This really is a film for the audience to enjoy and I said it once and I'll say it again, the GA is going to eat this movie up in the best way possible.

I wonder if the fact that the Wayne Enterprises logo is the exact same as the Nolan logo means anything.

Means nothing, just a pay of respect to Nolan. I believe Goyer mentioned this in his latest interview.

Dude I was getting worried, but to see the movie and know that it is a fantastic film... almost overwhelming

Yeah, I looked at the logo before seeing the movie because I wanted to compare. Same exact one. Of course, it could just be an easter egg that has no actual tie to future movies, but it's there. And it could mean something.

That and/or you have super powers lol.

:woot: I feel the same way. It's awesome to finally have this film and have it be good. Feels good. The feels.

I appreciate it  The WOM should be fantastic on this one. It is a shame that the critics were so harsh when I truly feel it is on par with the first Iron Man film that ended up over 90% on RT.

Yeah, no way someone can say Iron Man is a better movie with a straight face. Unless you're just looking for a comedy/action movie.

We finally have a Superman film we can call our own. Well, speaking for me of course cause I wasn't even alive during the Reeve era.

I feel like Batman is bound to end up on screen with Superman regardless we know WB wants JL or WF so we will see it one day god willing lol. I also noticed during my second viewing that when Kal [BLACKOUT]is in the scout ship and he finds the old dead kryptonian the camera then pans to one of the pods that's left open and stays there for a second or two. A nod to us who read the prequel comic? Hinting to Kara maybe? Either way they panned to the open and empty pod for a reason[/BLACKOUT] :woot:

I'm from Austin too!!! I had no idea there was an AICN screening. I drove to houston last week to see it instead lol.

Yeah there was a contest posted on the front page last weekend for a chance to win tickets to a special screening at the Alamo DraftHouse Village. You had to show how big of a superman fan you were (whether that be a story, pictures, video, basically anything you could put into an email) and they'd pick like 50 people out of the submissions. Luckily I got picked, so I got to see it last night, so the whole crowd was basically superman fans and friends/family of Harry and AICN and the draft house.

Goyer or Snyder (can't remember which one) said in an interview a few days ago that they did that purposefully. We can be 100% there's another Kryptonian on earth. Whether it's Kara or the other male Kryptonian remains to be seen.

Bad ass! WHen I saw it in Houston last week it was tons of fans and it was a cool experience. I loved it. Saw it again tonight and got a huge round of applause from people that I found out didn't even buy the walmart tickets. I heard a bunch of people talking about how they were giving them out yesterday at walmart because they didn't sell all of them. Loved to see normal fans cheering. Made me feel less bias for liking it so much lol.

Sweet. Stuff for a sequel :woot:

Someone is going to have to explain the problem with Pa Kent. Because that stuff got me.

His death literally made my brother cry. Made me tear up. And it is perfect. Absolutely perfect. Clark can't save him.

Problem?

It was a powerful scene for sure.
