I'd love to know what other people would have called it :woot:

The name is fine, "RELEASE THE WORLD ENGINE" just sounded stupid to me.

He could easily have just said "Get the device in place" may have been less epic but would have cut out the s******s in the theatre.

It didn't sound cheesy, just stupid to me.

Ah we'll each to their own, I think people are just way too critical about the smallest things these days

Oh don't get me wrong its like the film is marked down because of that one line. It was just something I personally didn't like. I emphasize that line but as I said before the whole 3rd act to me took a u-turn with the dialogue.

No that's fine, sorry my comment wasn't a dig at you. It's just amazing that we're having pages of conversations on the littlest things lol

Also as I've said before I have no problem with people not liking the film, in fact I like to compare notes in those regards but I hate that people are making big deals out if the small things.

Personally, I've been seeing someone posting some vague reference to a criticism or praise or whatever about MOS and someone takes offense to it as if it were a personal insult against them. I know this film has its flaws and has caused a divide amongst the fans here and elsewhere, but this board is starting to become the poster child of hypersensitivity.

No it's bloody we'll not :cmad:

I'm kidding :oldrazz:

Tbh I'm looking forward to when it all dies down its crazy on here lately

It's just that it has gotten so bad, that I just don't even want to lurk or participate in certain threads anymore. I think it's mainly out of fear someone will take a sarcastic comment or one of my jokes the wrong way and lecture me or debate with me why I'm wrong. :(

Yeah I get what you mean a few pages back this particular thread just got super negative so I didn't want to write anything. I think it will go back to how it was before when it all dies down.

So did you like it or not?

But, but, you`re never wrong! :fhm:

^I know right. :D

My biggest fear is they fast track a sequel and the level of 'crazy' doesn't subside, but rather stays constant until this end of this continuity.

I really hope they take the 3 years or at the least let it hit Christmas 2015.

I can handle the craziness, I definitely could not handle a crappy sequel...

For the record, I was someone who was very happy with how MoS turned out. By the way, this is coming from a lifelong Superman fan who loves the Christopher Reeve movies.

But I guess there are those that can't stand to see any changes, especially those that are as radical as seen in MoS. Which is fine of course.

It didn't help the Bat Boards. :oldrazz:

Speaking of Zod's line to Jax-Ur, I thought it was "Release the World Machine!". Am I wrong?

Nokia trailer someone says "I won't betray them", Zod replies "you already have", where the hell was that line in the film? And evidently they only cut one scene I think knowing that dialogue is missing shows that they cut more than one scene.

I want to see the extended cut for this film and see if it actually improves the film or prolongs it to the point of insanity. :hmm

Did you like the film or not? Lol I really can't tell :oldrazz:

Deborah Snyder said they cut one scene and trimmed others .
That was probably part of the trimming .

I believe that exchange was in the book.

it's right after Zod probes Superman's mind.

Superman says: "I won't betray them."
Zod replies: "You already have."

Superman then realizes that he gave away his mom and his home in Smallville, which leads Zod and co to Smallville to look for the codex.

I think that's how it went......

I think of this film like a scab, it looks okay but once you start to pick at it all the nasty stuff starts to gush out. :barf:

:p

But yeah I liked it, but it has many flaws.

Ha ha that's the weirdest description for a film I've ever read :woot:
