i don't understand ? what were u wanting in the movie that wasn't there ? it really got emotional at times ...action packed ...amazing visuals ...this movie did it all!

I wanted to feel for Superman, I wanted to see the perspective of the human race when Aliens arrive for the FIRST time ever! I wanted to feel for pa kents death in the tornado, if that was emotional for you, you're only going by past incarnations of the characters'. All I got from this movie was a sci-fi action packed movie with no development of the main characters. Marvel definitly will always have the upper hand with the exception of the Batman trilogy.

The Dark Knight has problems yes but lumping it with Catwoman? That is some major hate there.

We don't need to see humans reacting to aliens. We've seen that ad nauseam in films. They run they scream they act stupid.

I don´t understand how the hell Superman´s uniform is on Kara´s ancient ship.

Well the Kara comic says the ship has facilities to clone and grow Kryptonians for their colonization project, I assume that includes more Els. Also the artbook said it's one of many such suits on board. If they didn't actually show more than one, I get it.

Also, that ****ing pen drive that works with every kryptonian ship, even if they were built at different ages (thousands of years, actually). Kryptonian technology doesn´t evolve? Their machines and sistems don´t caducate?

Yes, they are meant to be stagnated and that includes tech. Artbook said so. Does the film not say so again, have Jor-El say it?

You misunderstood what he was trying to say. He's saying that based on some of the reviews we've been seeing, he can't decide whether the film is brilliant (Dark Knight) or dreadful (Catwoman).

Of course I did, in no way am I trying to bash Supes, just this movie. Superman is developed in OUR minds. But if youre coming into the movie not really knowing who superman is, then I would guarentee you would be let down. I have been following every snippet and article that has come out for the past 3 years, I was way to hyped for this movie. I was the first in line tonight and everything, but the movie just fell flat for me. I'am going to see it again, Ill just be drunk, and thats no joke

I dont think the films dreadful, just missing a whole lot. The acting was very good.

Yes Jor-El Explained it all maybe ppl didn't catch it because the visuals at that exact moment was outstanding

there was a scene they filmed were clark is riding his bycycle past a christopher reeve stand in on the street that wasn't in the movie !!!! i wanted to see so bad !!! anyway i guess it'll be in the directors cut which will be like 3 1/2 hours ....i'm still so exited i may go back for midnight showing ,..this movie will make 2 billion!

Chris Reeve does appear in the movie... didn´t you see it?

The movie was good and takes an epic story seriously. Crazy action. Superman is well he is superman and to expect no extended action from basically an alien humanized god is silly. Some of the cast drops some great performances. This is definitely a Batman Begins kind of thing.

As far as the reviews, theyll come around and really who cares what some snobby film critic thinks. This one is for the public and the fans to enjoy no doubt. This doesnt have the light hearted dick donner palette some of these reviewers think superman has to be but its def the start of something entirely different.

Exciting to see they took a timeless epic story and gave it a serious spin it deserves. The DCU will be fun to watch in film. I still kind of want to see the TDK cast here it would be fun.

I Actually got out of the hospital one hour before the movie start i was so thankful to be there ! ...i'm goin again tomorrow ...movie has better visuals then anything i've ever seen!

also u really believe henry is superman like superman came to life on the screen ...i'm so glad they stayed out of the donnerverse its better for bother movies! i can't wait to see what zack has in store the sequal !!!!
