The funny thing is that this is because of Reddit's hivemind. Someone first posted they really liked the movie and it was upvoted to the front page before the mods removed it, lots of people agreed with him in the comments as well. Then this post came up which the mods did not remove. R/Movies is one of the most circle-jerky subreddits ever.

Looks like I'll have to see this movie on Thursday or Friday. On Saturday and Sunday the price suddenly goes up.

But while it's good to play to a full theatre because it means the box office is greater for WW, I don't like crowded auditoriums. I'd be fine with it being almost empty.

there's only one theatre chain in Italy that screens movies in English and it's only on wednesdays... so it'll come out on friday and I'll have to wait an additional 5 days after it's released to be able to see it. cuz I ain't seeing it dubbed yo

I don't know if this is going to be sold out on Thursday or Friday. I might have to pre book in order to get a decent seat. I hate being stuck between two people, especially when it's hot.

I prefer that people adopt the unspoken rule of avoiding sitting next to someone else unless there is absolutely no other choice. It's a bit like picking a urinal in the men's toilets:

Bough tickets for me, my girlfriend, and her sister to see the movie on Saturday. They've always tolerated my love for superhero films but never jumped on board but are now both very excited. Said it before and I'll say it again: I think this is going to be a huge hit.

I'm not willing to say anything regarding the success level of WW. I don't think it's going to hit $1 billion. Superhero films are popular, but I don't think hitting that target is an easy or regular thing to do anymore. Simply making a good profit is a success.

I think you're right. I know I've never seen my mom so excited for a superhero movie before. She's coming to visit me later this month and I know we'll be going to see it together even though we will have both seen it by then, lol.
