Good for them, but it won't make me feel any better if I end up not enjoying the movie.

It's pretty crazy how good they are saying it is and how widely they seem to be agreeing.

It's kinda shocking but I'm happy and relieved this time around because the atmosphere is great in these threads. All of us are genuinely happy that WW will probably be a great success.

Also yes, Gadot and Jenkins must have done something very beautiful/great nao that everyone is gushing about them.

I fear that I might get too much hyped and end up not enjoying the movie as I may have built up high expectations, damn you RT.

No, but it's still way to early to call. The bulk of the reviews haven't come in yet.

Around 1/3 of reviews have been released. I think it won't fall below 90%. You can see a pattern of continuous positive reviews. Even if more negative reviews pop up, it won't change the tide by much.

Bro, don't let RT hype you up and bring it down. I'm happy for the RT score of WW as it keeps the mood of the thread upbeat. No doom and gloom and circle jerking of past things.

I'll be reading reviews and specifically focus on the part where the critics are scrutinizing Gadot's performance. That's far more interesting to me at the moment.

Just booked my ticket for Friday, really psyched to be seeing that

Yeah, we shouldn't let RT control our hype for the movie. I won't be reading any reviews tho.

She's a brazilian pop singer from the 80s who is also known for reality shows, acting, hosting, modeling, porn, plastic surgeries, having a daughter who suddenly became a man, giving Jean-Claude Van Damme a ***** on live TV, getting married 17 times and being a legend.

An iconic myht here in Brazil indeed. BUT..... Inês Brasil is getting closer.

If it's not better than TDK, I'm going to be very disappointed. :o

Nothing is better than TDK. It is the pinnacle of CBMs. :D :D

I mean it's too early to call it the highest rated CBM.

The last time a CBM was this hyped up it was with Deadpool and I left the movie feeling disappointed. With WW I don't think I will be that let down because now I know that critics can blow hott air regarding their "oh so great" movies.

I may be bringing myself a storm here, but for me that's TDKR.

It has the perfect story and act structure, character arcs and one of the best endings in CBM history. It beautifully wraps up the trilogy.

Second best (for me) is probably The Avengers.

I am so happy for the success of this film!

There have been 130 superhero films released since 1920 and only 8 of those had a female superhero lead.

So go Wondy!

Definitely. From Batman deciding to take the bomb out of Gotham to the very end, I couldn't stop myself from crying. It was emotionally devastating. But then Nolan was able to give closure to several characters that was very satisfying to me. You'll be happy to know that it is 2nd (distant) behind TDK in my list.

Truth.

Even if it turns out I don't love the movie, I'm happy about the enthusiastic critical reception, just because of the positive impact that can have down the line.

Bad reviews, or even mediocre reviews, for a film like this would have been a downer in a lot of ways.

If I personally love it, then great. Even better. Can't wait to see it on Friday.
