No. Though, I did hear some bits from the leaked audio footage of the Chinese premiere. Didn't find the score that special during the film, but after listening to the whole album it has grown on me.

Same, though I didn't hear the Chinese audio footage. I'm wondering if I should listen to the score for JL before watching the movie, like I did for BvS.

Back to WW. Did you guys listen to the score before watching the movie? I didn't, wanting to be wowed by it in the cinema. Sadly, it didn't do much for me, and I regret not having listened to it beforehand.
I have listened to it a few times and it doesn't really do much for me. BUT there are a few standout moments that I look forward to seeing in context. Especially some of the more emotional stuff towards the end.

The best DCEU score for me remains MoS by a country mile.

Charlize Theron for Hera? :sly:
YES.

When are you watching it, flick?

I've got tickets for a matinee tomorrow afternoon. Currently watching some DC Animated flicks to get hyped. :woot:

Awesome! I watched the 2009 animated WW film right before it, and watched BvS the previous day. Hope you'll enjoy it, look forward to your reaction.

It's a good movie. Does the character and the concept of superheroes justice. Gadot is an excellent Diana with several facets, and Pine is a perfect Trevor. They have incredible chemistry together. Incredible score. Solid story with some execution issues. Visually striking with solid action sequences. Generally a well made film with some heart and emotional significance. Overall, can't shake the feeling that cinematically, something has been gained with this film, and something has been lost from the DCEU. Good and bad. General audiences will eat this up. More thoughts tomorrow.

Interested what you mean by that statement.

I saw Wonder Woman. It was very good, good action, funny, and I did get teary eyed a bit bc I can be emotional hehe

Just about got my tickets. On in 45 minutes wohoo!!

WOW! That was A really Fantastic Movie! I enjoyed it All you guys! it was Grand in Scale Whilst also Grounded Emotionally! First Off I LOVED the Story of Diana growing up with her Amazons in Theymiscira and then The Journey we take with her along the way to discover who she is and what is her role in the world! We all go through that journey and we all fail and succeed along the way and making The Character of diana like that Is gonna Be HUGE with Audiences! I also Loved her Modern Day scenes that really Shape The Character we know she becomes. Not to spoil but it is SO PERFECT for her character that it actually made me cry! The Chemistry of Gal & Pine is the best I have seen in a LONG time! It was Organic, romantic, Powerful, and So REAL! It actually really made marvels attempts at romance seem very Lackluster compared to this!! The Action was so much fun and breathtaking to behold! When you first see Wonder Woman Leap into Action....It's gonna be something I will never Forget! It was that Spectacular! I really Enjoyed the Villains and when they were on screen it was fun to watch! Especially Dr. Poison in a scene that made me smile and say "That's the old fashioned villains I have Missed! The Amazons were my personal Fav of everything and I hope we get to see more of them and Themyscira in the future! Now as far as the Third Act.....LOVED IT!! Really enjoyed the Spectacle that it became! It's what we want to see with Wonder Woman in Action and Patty Nailed it! THE VILLIAN LOOKED SO COOL BROUGHT TO LIFE! Never thought I would ever get to see it happen. If I do have to nitpick I will say some of the CGI was Choppy and noticeable! But that's about it I had no problems with any Act or Pacing! Honestly Guys this movie was Spectacular and I can't stop thinking about it! Can't wait to watch it again tomorrow in IMAX 3D! This Is definitely DC Best film since TDK! Also On par with MOS for me in the DCEU! I loved this over any Marvel film to date! PLEASE GO SEE IT AND AGAIN! 9.5/10 from Me

:funny: I refreshed the page and was wondering where all the posts went.

And I wonder what was the digression about. Was it something I said?

Looks like it is Friday for me and the family, and the 9pm showing.

Guard, I'm seeing it tomorrow night, I'm looking forward to reading your thoughts afterward. Your words above speak pretty directly to my concerns going in.

I thought it was good. I'm going to be rewatching that Ares fight a lot in the future. Favorite parts were the scenes on Themyscira. I tested up. Also loved the ice cream nod!

That DC films intro was fire though. Can't wait to get a better look at that. It basically shows us all the characters that DC wants to use in their movies

Nah, it wasn't you. There was a thing that was said by one user to another that seemed to cross the boundaries of propriety and said user was called out on it a lot, and then the whole thing sort of deteriorated. It's history now.

I'm seeing it tomorrow at 7pm!

Question: where is Themyscira located? Plus, even if the fog protecting the island, no one has ever crossed it until and only 1918?

Questions not answered. Funnily enough I thought this might be a tough sell but you kinda just buy into it. I assumed for the longest time there's needed to be some justification for some things from WW origin but you kinda just accept it without questioning.

I look at it like this, Steve just got lucky he crashed landed on it. There's still islands out there that haven't been explored yet and we're far more advance than we were back then.

Everyone thought it was Skull Island, so they stayed far away from it.....and ended up running into the real Skull Island in the ultimate WB cinematic universe.
